"Anna! Anna!! Wake up it's time to get ready". with a grunt I woke to find a frustrated Aunt Chloe at my bedside. Today is a turning point in my life. I actually going to college finally.
" you need to get up" Aunt Chloe said cheerfully.
"okay I am up already, can't you let a girl have her sleep?
I know that question was rhetoric but it is just fun when it involve Aunt Chloe.
"get up young lady don't let me leave I am" she said as if reading my thoughts
"okay okay I am up and I know you love me too, no need to show it" I smiled and got up. Aunt Chloe is the person I have known since infant and she sees me as her own daughter after the death of her husband and daughter on their way back from school.
After freshening up and got dressed I went down to get breakfast which I wouldn't miss even if I wanted to.
"goodmorning mom, dad". I greeted with a peck.
" morning mama" mom replied.
"how is my princess". dad said with a smile. My old man is so excited about me going to college.
"your mom and I will drop you off and send your car two weeks after".dad enthused.
" why and what will be my transport to school?" I asked frustrated already.
"nothing I had done a little thinking maybe you should get use to your new surroundings and get to know places first before you start driving.That's a fact yes?
"you did a little thinking or a lot of it". I said with a know grimace.
"I know you have more to say,just tell me already". I faked an annoyed expression.
" well you know me already. okay you're not going anywhere at night or let me say nights. you'll avoid friend that emulate bad character I believe you'll know them when you seen them". He stated
"And also you'll always study which is the sole reason you're going to college. Are we clear on that?"
"yes we are but what if I am invited somewhere or maybe a party?". I asked
" then you'd have to ask for permission".
just wanting to tease him a little I added "From whom?". I faked a confused look.
"From us, who else". mom said with surprise on written their faces.
"alright! alright! I will happy now". I chuckle loudly.
"Now with due respect Mr. and Mrs Colton, are we ready to leave?". I asked with a grin.
"yes let's get going".mom mentioned.
" Dad you know that the Driver can drop me off?"
"No". he calmly stated.
"okay what about your personal driver!"
"No Anastasia, I want to make sure everything is okay.I know if we keep talking we eon make it today.
"yes sir, can we go now?.I smiled to brighten his heart.
"I'll go get my bag from the counter".mom stood with a smile, she usually quite when dad and I debate on something because she knows there's no stopping till either of us aspects which I sometimes win.

After a warm byes to Aunt Chloe, Martha, Eva, Olive, Dan and Steve.
we headed for the road.
After twice an hour of drive to our destination which was just a stone-throw from the school we made our way passed the security guards and headed to the elevator."C'mon Anna". mom called. which she noticed I was lost in my thoughts. I felt nervous and excited at the same time the moment I saw the school.
"Dad?".I called
" yes Honey?".
"why waste time with an Apartment, I could have preferred the schooldorm".
" I don't want you at the school dorm Anna, I don't like it there". dad shrugged.
"Honey,everything you need is available here besides the school is not far away". mom chipped.
" I am not complaining mom,I know that whatever you two do for me is always the best. I was curious why your husband doesn't want me stay at the schooldorm".I smile.The patience was running out of hand or may e the elevator was kind of slow. I couldn't wait to see my apartment, my own personal space, where only I would be living in.
"Are we not there yet?" I asked
"patient young lady,yours is at the 11th floor. we came to a stop when dad handed me the keys. With haste I open the door to contact with my favorite scent –Lavender and Wild Cherry.
" I know you like it and you're welcome".
I turned to my father smiling from ear to ear, I hugged both of them and made my way inside. everything was perfect.
"come help me with your stuffs, we need to set up the remains". mom called.
" okay Mama".

It was 4pm already when we finished everything.
Dad stood up to make phone calls."we'll be on our way soon I just need to make some calls, Williams called and texted but I couldn't take them then".
mom was resting on the couch while I was sitting on the Armchair busying away the moment with my phone because I don't have anything doing for the day apart from the fact that I am still anxious of my first day in college I think history is repeating itself just like my first day in middle school.
"okay guys it's time to get going, I have some work that I have to take care of". dad informed.
" I thought you'd not be through with your enormous calls,even I have to check things at the hotel".mom retorted.
Nothing you can say when you know your parents are workaholics, even I wonder how we get to spend the time together.
"Alright sure you guys should get going because its getting late by the minutes which I wouldn't like". I suggested
" look who is talking,execuse me even if its late we'll still know our way back home"mom laughed.
"Dad tell your wife to get moving or I am coming with you guys".
" your Dad and I are grown ups, we can get home even if its late 'mother'.mom laughed
I faked a frawn,I had to sustain my laughter because mom and I brickle like two sisters.
"don't call me is that!", I am not your mother. wait a second I'll be back"
I ran to get some Apples from the kitchen for them.
"this with keep you going while on your way and drive safe.
" yes mother " Dad joked.
"stop it " I snapped.My parent are all fun and my loving Nana. I miss her a lot.
"let's go babe". dad gestured.
" eww!" I said disgustedly.
"what is your problem ugh!". mom wailed
"this is my private space not yours, you shouldn't be here".
" oh yes before I forget next month we're going to visit Nana".dad reminded
"okay loves birds, see you soon".with that they left and I had to go through some of my courses, you know just to get myself acquainted.
