It was around 8 pm when Marcy's car parked in front of Diana's house. It's a good thing that it's after dinner and her mother is already comfortably seated in the living room with the television blasting through the entire house while she watches her favorite TV dramas.
Diana marches to their chest-high metal gate before her friend can open his mouth to call her attention with his usual exuberant greeting that can be heard from a mile away. She immediately smothers him with her hand and glares a silent warning at him with her eyes.
"Shhh! Be quiet! Mom can't know you're here.." She warns.
Marcy nods his head. His eyes are full of fear. When she wants to, his sweet bestfriend can be very scary. Slowly, she pulls her hand away and opens the gate to let him in.
"I'm really sorry about last night. But..." Marcy starts when Diana punches his chest. He starts coughing.
"You should be sorry! It's all your fault! I hate you!" She hits him again, this time on his arm and again. "You left me." She punches his belly but the blow is weaker as she starts sobbing and her tears start pouring. "You're a useless traitor. You're not my friend." She sobs. "You left me. That's why it happened. Because you left me..." She stops hitting him as her shoulders drop defeated and she continues to cry.
"Oh my God! What happened to you, Bestie?" He asks, ignoring the pain from some of the punches he got. "Come here." He pulls her into his arms and hugs her as she cries on his chest. "Tell me everything."
She hugs him back and clings to him while she cries until she's ready to tell her bestfriend the whole story of the night before and the steamy morning that followed.
Meanwhile, inside the house, Diana's mother who has dozed off while watching, is awakened to the sound of the young woman's sobs and crying. She attempts to open her eyes but sleep is not willing to let her go just yet. She only manages to part her eyelids to a crack that sees the glare from the TV. She sighs. "Maybe Mia did something really awful to Kara again." She thinks the characters in the drama she's watching made the sound then goes back to sleep.

"Boss, you don't look so good. Are you okay?" Keno asks Jacob who's been yawning for the past two hours, twirling a certain credit card between his fingers and seems to be out of his usual mood in the bar. He even ignored two very gorgeous women who tried to flirt with him. On a normal night, he would've responded with a couple of lines which would end up with one of them giving him a blowjob in the bar's restroom then he would take the other one in one of the hotel rooms upstairs for some no-strings-attached f*****g or he could have them both upstairs if he's in that mood.
"I'm fine, Keno." Jacob sighs as he looks at the door again.
"You know what they say about a watched door, right, Boss?"
"What?" He asks irritatedly.
"They never boil." The bartender chuckles at his own corny joke as he pours a shot of Tequila and slides the glass over to Jacob. "Maybe, you're overthinking last night. Maybe because for the first time in your life, a woman left you in bed that's why you're still thinking about her and having confused feelings about this whole thing. What you need is a do-over. Another good lay to set the record straight. You know what you should do, Boss? Drink this. Forget about Ms. Fairy Spy for a couple of hours and take that short-haired hottie upstairs. She's been ogling you since she got in the bar."
Jacob sighs again and peels his eyes away from the door, he turns to his friend and looks at him quietly for a few seconds, considering what he said. Then he gets the shot glass and drinks its contents in one go. After that he turns to the short-haired woman with a fake ash-blonde head and even faker nose and big boobs stuffed in a skimpy red dress. He slides off from the stool he's been sitting on and smirks at the woman who leans forward on her table to give him a better view of her breasts which look like they're about to spill out from her low neckline.
Jacob turns to Keno then slips the credit card in his hand inside his front pocket. "I'll be upstairs. I'm taking the card with me. Let me know immediately when someone comes looking for it."
"IF someone comes looking for it." Keno grins but stops when his boss gives him a sharp look. "Yup. Shutting up now. Yes, Boss. You'll know immediately. Go ahead. Enjoy." He winks.
Jacob rolls his eyes at him and walks over to the woman. He whispers something in her ear and walks towards the door without looking back. She hurriedly grabs her purse and follows him.

"What? Come on. Let's go!" Marcy tells her after she tells him the whole story.
"Where?" She frowns up at him, wiping the last few drops of her tears and sniffling.
Her bestfriend faces her, then proceeds to fix her hair and gently wipes her face with his hands, inspecting her still very pretty face despite her red nose and eyes from crying.
"We are going back there. Find the guy who took your V-card to get my credit card and I will treat you to some delicious coffee and cakes and a late night in the spa to take away all the pain in your body and heart then... We will all move on from this. Okay?"
"Good plan. But are you sure you won't leave me again when your boyfriend whistles." She rolls her eyes.
"Whistle? Do you think I'm a dog?" Marcy shakes his head. "No. I promise. I will never leave you again. If I do that again, I will kiss ten girls." He shivers and winces in disgust just thinking about it. "Please believe me. You know doing that will kill me."
"You're stupid!" Diana giggles. "Come here and kiss me." She puckers her lips then laughs when he forms a cross with his arms and holds it up to her face as if trying to exorcise her from an evil spirit.
Yes. Maybe she is possessed by the devil to make her forget who she was and everything she believed in for a time of sinful passion and ceaseless lust with Jacob. Until now, despite all her remorse and the painful realizations after their time together which was both regretful and magical, she still wants to see him again.
"Fine. I believe you. Let's go." She tells Marcy.
