Georgia's Pov
My eyes opened a little, and immediately it did. I felt a sharp pain shoot through my head, causing me to wince. My head felt like it had been split open, and it took what felt like forever for my eyes to even think about opening fully.
When my eyes finally opened, everything was a blur, so blurred that it was impossible to see where I was. I tried to focus, but my vision was all wrong, and I could barely make out anything around me.
I squeezed my eyes shut, taking deep breaths in a futile attempt to get myself together. And for a few agonizing seconds, nothing made sense—where I was, what was happening, or why my body hurt so damn much.
