My father, Henrietta, and Fiona were seated directly opposite me with annoyed expressions on their faces. For some reason, instead of finding it amusing, I couldn't help but find the look on their faces very pathetic.
"So, you're telling me that not only is the apartment complex that was initially given to me by my ex-father-in-law no longer under my name, but this house as well as his shares in my company are now in my daughter's name?" my father asked, and even though he was trying to seem composed, I could tell he was losing it.
