Those kisses had long melted my heart. From the moment I almost lost my senses upon seeing him with another woman, I knew I had fallen so much for this man and was just trying to suppress the feelings growing in me.
Now, recalling every discussion, how he cared for me, his possessive stares and how he had given me comfort beside him, I knew it was high time I shifted aside the fact he was Alden's brother and just accepted my feelings for him.
He had proposed to be his lady, and the word ‘Yes’ was just some miles away from getting off my lips. I was impatient and wanted the weekend to come quickly so I could give him the response he was awaiting.
