Haven’s POV The remaining hours of the day had me being overwhelmed with work. And once it was closing time, Major showed up in the workshop. His boot slammed as he got closer and squatted beside me. He said nothing and only watched what I was doing, smelling of leather and patch mixed with cedar. I glanced at him several times, and our eyes locked, causing my belly to rumble.
