Haven’s POV
Finally, the club's physician released Major, and we decided to take a stroll down the highway. We held hands together, walking side by side and chatting about the whole recent incident.
“Alden isn't in town. He had left since his mission wasn't accomplished, and I bet he would keep calm as I think.” he said and exhaled, while I pressed my lips together, having nothing much to say. “I’ve always overlooked him because of our father. But as it is now, and knowing that my father will take his side if I report, I will teach him a huge lesson if he gets on my nerves again.”
“I'm sorry!” was the only thing I could say, because I could see the amount of stress I was causing him to be by his side. I knew he could have loved me far back, but it hurts being a burden to someone else,
