Burn It Down..
After staring into Xavier's eyes and filling him with fear he noticed the card in his hand.
He nodded.
“So you saw the lady that left my office and you know what happened here?.”
Bushen spoke angrily while flipping the documents.
Xavier brushed it off and went to the point.
He was already bullied among the silver moon pack for being wolfless, would he be bullied at work too?.
“ I heard some ladies gossiping about madam.
They were saying horrible things and questioning her status.”
Bushen paid no attention to Xavier, he's presence only made him angrier.
Xavier paused waiting for Bushen to say something in his fiance's defense.
“ Do not meddle with these things. Get back to work.” Bushen ordered.
Xavier could see the golden glow in Bushens eyes, like his wolf was staring back at him. Xavier became extremely frightened.
“I am done with my shift sir, it is 5pm and I have to go home.”
Bushen looked at him coldly. All he could see whenever he stared at Xavier were the blood of his parents caused by his father.
Bushen did not let him go, he had an even better idea.
“ You will go home with me, I have some chores and would need an extra pair of hands.”
Bushen stared at Xavier waiting for his reaction, he wanted to piss him off.
But Xaviers face showed no emotion.
“ I won't be able to do that sir. My grandmother needs me.”
Bushen could not believe his ears, did he just say no?.
No one had ever said no to him before, and he was going to let this slide peacefully.
Bushen sighed, this was no ordinary staff this was an enemies son. He had to be calculative.
“ Are you saying you would serve any punishment I give you tomorrow so you could go be with your grandmother?”.
Xavier thought about it, he never said any such thing but he could do anything for his grandmother and so he nodded.
Mr Bushen smiled and dismissed him.
As Xavier went home he stared at the car wondering if Xin Li was still in there if she had fallen asleep.
Xavier walked briskly away and went home in a cab.
As soon as he got into a cab, a taxi followed from behind carefully.
Throughout his journey home, Xavier could not stop thinking of how much suffering that young lady must go through daily.
“ I have gotten his location.” Wang announced proudly to his boss who wore an indifferent look on his face.
“Proceed.” Master Bushen ordered.
Wang nodded although he was loyal he never thought his master would ask him to set a trap for someone in such a deadly manner.
Bushens father died in a fire he believed was set by Xavier's father it was only fair if he died in a fire also.
As Wang was about to come down from the car, he heard the sound of another car behind him.
“Madam?”. He said filled with fear.
Xin Li waved at Xavier, her face beaming with smiles.
Xavier had called earlier to invite her to dinner on his way home.
He thought she would decline but she made it…
Wang shivered visibly in the taxi, he called his boss.
“ Madam is here sir. I mean your wife is here, silly me of course your wife is my madam.”
Bushen ended the call, he held his phone so tight the screen cracked.
How dare she go to a mans house, someone she just met.
A family dinner…
Xaviers grandmother saw her son with a lady for the first time.
She was extremely surprised.
“ Is this your girlfriend my son?.” Xaviers mother asked lovingly.
Xin Li smiled quietly.
“ Oh no mom, she is my boss's future wife.”
His grandmother was stunned for the second time.
“You got the job, and you also started working now, you rascal when where you going to tell me?.”
Xavier used his hand to brush his dark hair behind his ears.
“ When I came home. That aside grandmother today we will have a feast to honour my madam.”
Xaviers grandmother smiled.
Bushens Empire…
After Bushen was done with every important work that could not wait he went to the car and found his driver sleeping.
He banged the door repeatedly the driver jerked.
“War, where..”
Bushen rolled his eyes and asked where Xin Li was.
The driver turned and realized that the back seat was empty.
Xin Li must have snuck out of the car when the driver was sleeping.
Bushen could not control his temper, he hooked his driver by the collar and brought him out.
“You are lucky that I am a little bit decent, you would have gotten fired today.”..
The driver coughed as the exhaust fumes covered his nose.
That was his punishment he was going to walk all the way home.
Wang told the driver to leave the scene as soon as he saw Bushens car behind him. He did not want to see his master enraged.
Bushen sat in his car, and waited watching the house with fury in his eyes.
The house that would have being burnt down minutes ago was still standing thanks to her.
He watched her laugh through the window while his anger burned he had had enough.
Bushen stepped out and knocked heavily on the door.
Xin Lis smile froze as she saw her fiance's car packed out side.
“He's here.” She whispered.
Xavier helped her sneak through the backdoor while Xin Li ran as fast as she could almost falling.
“Where is my wife,?.”
Bushen thundered, his voice could almost bring the house down.
“ Madam, why will madam be here?.” Xavier responded calmly.
Xavier could feel the fire burning in Bushens eyes.
“ First you close from work earlier than you are supposed to.
And now you are flirting with my wife out in the open.”
Xaviers grandmother tried to create peace and said it was just a quiet family dinner and we only invited her as a guest.
“ I see you have raised him well. He brought somebody's wife home with our asking for her husband's permission and you are defending him.”
Xaviers button has finally being pushed he would never stand quietly and watch someone blame his grandmother she was all he had.
