Bushens Message..
Xin Li stared at her phone looking stunned for a few seconds before smiling at the Governors wife.
Xin Li noticed the lady had become extremely tipsy.
“Is that alcohol?.” Xin Li sniffed the air, she was in trouble the Governors wife was drunk.
How could such a known family act like peasants something was not adding up.
She went to the bathroom and called Bushen.
“ Listen I think this people are cons, this woman is busy drinking her life away.”
Bushen on the other end of the call grunted he watched the “ Governor” jump on every snack offered..
He ended the call abruptly.
The Chubby man shook as the chair he sat on hit the wall.
Did they really think they would fool him for too long.
“Who sent you here and where is the governor?”.
The man would rather die than confess, his boss warned him not to get caught but he could not control his appetite.
His Boss Ba seing has being a fierce competitor, she did not want the boss to come here but to her company instead.
“Lock him in my office down stairs.” The Chubby man held Bushens leg and pleaded but his pleas fell on burning ears.
Bushen called Xin Li.. “ Do not let her leave..”
Xin Li and tried to stall as Bushen was on his way, he paused in his tracks.
Why did he not kill two birds with one stone.
He saw Xavier sulking in a corner staring at his drawing he almost felt pity for me.
“ Come with me.” Bushen ordered Xavier and he followed..
Bushen stepped into his Villa the first lady was stunned to see him, had her partner gotten caught?.
Bushen sat in the living room he was extremely quiet, he contacted Ba Seing who was too busy to pick his call.
“ That witch.” Xavier stood feeling confused why did Bushen ask him to come to his home.
He stared at Xin Li, and felt drawn to her eyes.
Xin Li and Xavier's eyes enetertwined and became one soul.
“ Do you know him?.”
Bushen asked Xin Li if she knew who Xavier was.
“ Do you know him?.” Bushen asked unexpectedly.
“ Yes,.. Uh., no..” Xin Li stuttered.
The False Governors partner widened her eyes. She had being sent as a spy and she had just noticed chaos..
“Oh, the all powerful Bushens fiance has no place in his wife's eyes, she even stares at another man when a stranger is present.
…
I will surely tell Ba Seing this, wait what if she scolds me and says it's not good enough information. I will tell her still.”
The false first Lady thought and was about to move out of the Villa when Bushen stopped her.
“ Going somewhere,?.”
His tone lacked respect and the lady knew her partner might be in trouble over there.
“ Oh, listen I have a meeting to attend to , I will see you some other time.”
Xin Li watched the lady move out and wondered why Bushen did not stop.
And just like that the lady seemed to slip away.
Xavier almost lost his mind while watching Bushen silence.
“ Are you going to let that sly woman go?.”
Bushen smiled..
“ Why do you want me to follow her so I can give you both privacy?, earlier you both could not stop staring at one another.”
Xavier could not believe his ears, he stormed out of the Villa, Bushen watched him leave.
Xin Li was making things easy for him now he did not need to work too hard to irritate and annoy him.
Xin Li felt sorry for Xavier and went up stairs.
He did not love her but also did not want her to be friends with any other person.
As Xin Li spoke to herself, she spinned around after hearing her room door bang.
Bushen had locked her in..
“Now I can go after Ba seeing.
She dared to steal my clients and send fake ones to me I will not spare her.”
Bushen stormed out, Xin Li did not even try to fight her way out. She sat on the bed and folded her arms.
“ Ba Seing, she must be a very powerful woman, if she helps me I could break out of this union. But will she?.”
Xin Li sank her head deep in her hands.
Baseing
After winning the governors heart, Baseing watched them leave.
She smiled feeling extremely proud.
She knew Bushen and his men would soon be here, she was ready for them.
“ If only you had agreed to get married to me. You would be second to none. If I can not be your wife or best friend then I will be your enemy.”
Baseing sat in her office waiting for Bushen to arrive, she had calculated that this might draw his attention, so why was he not here yet.
Spotting a dark SuV within her walls Baseing was not sure if she should be ready for war or for tea.
The door leaving to her office swung open and Bushen stormed in.
“ You are thirty minutes later than I expected.” Baseing spoke staring at her watch..
“You dare play mind games with me?.” She could feel Bushens fury from her seat she smiled at least she got his attention.
“ I am a master in the game of chess, remember how I beat you the last time you were here.”
Ba seing knew that Bushen could not take his eyes off beautiful women and she was no less..
“Are you using the governor as an excuse to see me, do you miss the good old days.”
Ba seing held unto Bushens tie, Bushen held her neck swiftly.
Ba seing was stunned, he could never change he was a monster.
“ No woman can seduce me if I do not want to be.
The next time you would do this will be your last.”
Bushen pushed Baseing away and walked out dusting his shirt.
Ba Seeing was furious, she was not interested in the governor being her client she only wanted his attention and now she had annoyed him.
She would wait for the false governors wife to arrive and tell her what's so special about Bushens betrothed that he refused to be with any other woman.
