Chapter Twenty-Three
We Found Her
After another hour of running Kade and Kane could smell the sweet scent of honeysuckles, “Mate, she’s near”, Kade spoke to his brother Kane. “Mine, must get mate”, Kane couldn't wait to see her and make sure that she and his pups were ok. They broke through the tree line and saw a two story house with a small porch. “Secure the surrounding ten square miles”, Xander ordered his men. “Yes Alpha”, the warriors took off in different directions following their King’s instructions.
Xander and Xavier shifted into their human form “We found her brother”, Xavier opened the door and found their mate sleeping on the couch. “Baby, we’re here”, Xavier pushed her hair to the side. “Little one, we're so sorry”, Xander said. Selene was exhausted and didn't even stir.
