“Actually, yeah. I could use someone at the desk here and there. I have some meetings in the next few weeks, and I need someone to cover for me.” The waitress’ face lit up. She was even prettier when she smiled genuinely. “Come by when you get off,” Rosalie said. “I’m there…almost always.” The waitress nodded, extending a shaky hand. “I’m Shelley, by the way.” “Rosalie.” Rosalie took Shelley’s hand before Shelley reached for Rosalie’s plate, doing an awkward shuffle before moving to take it behind the counter.
