Scene 1 – The Threat
It started with a text.
“We know where you are. Stay out of his way or you won’t see tomorrow.”
Alisha stared at the message, pulse thudding painfully in her ears. No sender, no number — just the cold, unmistakable warning.
She had thought the dangers were Lucas’s alone to carry. That his world wouldn’t touch her. But now it was clear — enemies were using her as a weapon. A weak spot to get to the King.
She tried to shake it off. Tried to tell herself it was empty threats. But the icy fingers of fear curled deep inside her chest.

Scene 2 – The First Attack
Walking home one evening, the sun dipping low and painting the streets orange, Alisha felt eyes watching her from every shadow.
Two figures stepped out suddenly, blocking her path — faces masked in scarves, eyes cold and unreadable.
“Alisha,” one said, voice rough. “You’ve been a problem. Time to pay.”
Her heartbeat sped up, breath hitching — but before panic could take hold, a shadow detached from the darkness behind her.
Lucas.
His presence was immediate, a physical force that seemed to bend the air. Without hesitation, he stepped between her and the threat.
“Back off,” his voice was low, a growl beneath the calm.
The attackers hesitated — and then vanished into the dark like ghosts.
Alisha’s knees weakened, and Lucas caught her before she could fall.
“You’re not safe,” he said softly, eyes scanning her face. “And neither is anyone who cares about you.”

Scene 3 – The Unveiling
The next day at school, Alisha’s phone buzzed again.
This time, a photo.
Her standing by the bike racks, Lucas beside her — a perfect moment caught in a perfect frame.
“We’re watching.”
Fear turned to anger. She confronted Lucas in the courtyard, voice trembling.
“Why didn’t you tell me the truth? About what you’re really involved in?”
He looked at her, pain flickering across his features. “Because I wanted to protect you.”
“Protect me?” she spat. “By dragging me into this nightmare?”
Before he could answer, Alex appeared, eyes sharp. “Looks like your King has a problem.”
Lucas’s gaze darkened. “And your prince?”
Alex’s smile was cold. “Not just a prince.”

Scene 4 – The Truth Revealed
Later that night, in a dimly lit room filled with whispered conversations and low laughter, Alisha followed Alex through a back door into a warehouse buzzing with life.
Faces she’d never seen before, tattoos gleaming under the flickering lights, and a crowd that moved with purpose and danger.
Alex led her through, his grip firm but not unkind.
“I wasn’t just transferred here,” he said quietly. “I’m not just some good guy.”
She swallowed hard, eyes wide.
“I run my own crew,” he confessed. “Not as big as Lucas’s, but enough. Enough to make sure no one crosses me.”
Alisha felt the ground shift beneath her. The world she thought she knew was fracturing, revealing sharp edges she hadn’t been ready for.

Scene 5 – Collision Course
The next day was charged with silent war.
Lucas and Alex moved like opposing kings on a chessboard, each calculating every step, every word.
Alisha was the prize neither could afford to lose.
And somewhere deep inside, she realized the only way out was good to choose — but choosing meant losing.
