Juliette’s point of view. Zoe, Seraphina and I had planned a quiet afternoon together. We packed a simple basket with fresh bread, cheese, sliced fruits and a few sweet pastries. The sun was warm and the sky clear, so we decided to walk to the grassy area beside the lake instead of a full picnic. It felt nice to get out of the pack house for a while.
