We made quite a commotion on the first floor, so the Japanese were somewhat on guard against our infiltrated force. However, they were caught off guard because they had to face the attack of tens of thousands of German-equipped divisions outside the building, hastily organize their forces to deal with us, and, more importantly, the building was pitch black.
