After I left the ball room I went into the woods to transform into my wolf I waited until midnight but then I didn't transform I was worried but then I heard a voice

I looked around but didn't see any one

who are you I asked

but you can't transform for now

why I asked

I don't know either but I think it's the moon goddess's will

what will happen now

but then I smelt an intoxicating scent it smelt like mint and tobacco

but it was only for a moment cause it faded immediately I didn't understand why such happened

everyone was looking at us some felt pity some laughed

other's felt disgusted

at that moment I understood that they figured it out I was wolfless but not completely

I tried to explain but they didn't listen

finally alpha Benedict came to my rescue but it was only for a moment cause Elena stone walked majestically towards me

I knew what her motive was

she had heard a rumor days back that I was in love with the alpha so she saw this as an opportunity to humiliate me

so you're Amelia she said with a smug to bad you're wolfless and worthless

I felt a surge of anger sweep over me but I kept calm knowing she was stronger than me

alpha Benedict intervened again and this time I smelt the scent again and this time I was convinced that he was my mate

everyone heard it cause all eyes turned to him

I also turned to look at him to know his reaction but all I saw was his cold aloof face

it then dawned on me that he will reject me but I hoped,prayed in my heart that he wouldn't

Reilly must have seen what happened to me cause she wasn't in the ball room when all of these was going on she quickly ran to my side to shield me
