“For how long are you planning to keep sleeping? It has been hours for f**k sake, Ari!”
Although her voice was loud and it would have annoyed the hell out of me if I wasn't thankful that Tiara woke me up. Sleeping for that long, since I walked out on my mate, would have been satisfying, especially after I was unable to sleep the night before, but the scary yet trapping nightmare I had made it a lot less peaceful.
“You are a lifesaver, Tiara. I could have died-”
“From oversleeping, right? You were whimpering in your sleep yet you didn't snap out of it.”
Tiara cut me off as I rolled lazily on the bed. It wasn't as if I didn't want to wake up as I experienced that scary nightmare, but I couldn't because the scenes of the nightmare wouldn't let me.
