The First Transformation Part Two

    I am overcome with happiness and love. This is perfect. This moment is perfect. He is perfect. Luke lays back. Flat on his back and slowly exhales. "Surprise, baby. I've had that ring since school started. Mom helped me pick it out. The stone is a Sapphire, it’s your birth stone." Kneeling next to him I still feel so relaxed. I never want this moment to end. "Luke this is the best surprise ever. I feel so lucky that I have you. The ring is so pretty!" I lean over and give Luke a kiss. He kisses me back. "Baby girl, can I have a little taste of dessert? Please?" I smile, I think I want him to wait. I think if I make him wait his emotions will build up even more. It might make it more fun later. "Sorry babe, you gotta wait." I lay down next to Luke. Luke moves on top of me. "Fine, but I want an appetizer." Luke kisses me again. "Alright, I am fine with that." I kiss him back. We all love a good appetizer... right?

***Emmie Point of View***

    Rogues... always a topic of discussion during these forsaken Pack meetings. Everyone is talking over each other at this damn meeting. I stand up next to Julian at the head of the table. I slam my fist down and everyone stops speaking. "I'm the Luna of this pack. I know everyone already has an understanding that they exist. Yes, they are an issue, we know they are an issue, we know the problem but what is the damn solution! We are a pack! We need to collaborate and control this together. Not argue with one another! So, everyone be good little wolves and stop talking if you don't have a solution." Micah, the Beta's son speaks up. "I think we need to rotate out the border patrols. It could work because the wolves that patrol now work off of routine, they are too predictable and easy to slip past." Julian speaks up, "Micah that's a great idea. I will have you start looking through recruits. Get them trained and set up. Double the amount of bodies on border patrols. But still keep 11 Wolves at a time on patrol. Those 11 could be switched up every 6 hours." I chime in, "Julian I think all of the patrols should be trained again. It’s important that we break any routines they may have developed. Maybe Micah can enlist some help in training them again, so the task isn't as large." Julian nods and holds my hand. He addresses Micah and the room, "So it will be done. Micah, recruit 4 other wolves to help you train. Start immediately. On to a new topic, it is time to officially announce or predecessors. You all have heard of them; you know who they are, and Luna and I are confident in our choice. We choose Lukas and his mate, Mercedes. They will be the new Alpha and Luna after our time has passed. They will carry on our traditions and laws. They will lead with pride, loyalty, and strength. We have full confidence in them." I feel proud, Luke and Mercedes will be great leaders. I look around the table, everyone looks surprised, as expected. Luke and Mercedes do not live with the pack, but they are family. I assume that everyone is surprised because they thought we would choose Samuel and Christine. They were an option, but Samuel is very overconfident and sometimes arrogant. That is not a good trait for an Alpha. Christine is kind, but isn't a leader, she exhibits traits of a follower. She was never known to take charge. She has a tendency to be a little passive aggressive. Samuel suddenly stood up, knocking over his chair. He loudly says, "What? How can that be? This is f*****g bullshit! An outsider and a freak hybrid got chosen over the obvious best choice! How-" Julian yells so loudly it sounds like a growl, "SILENCE BOY! You dare not speak out against your Alpha and Future Alpha. You will say nothing further about him or his future Luna! I will banish you without hesitation. I will banish anyone who speaks or acts against them! Are we all understood?" Samuel says nothing. He storms out of the room, Christine scurries after him. The whole room bows their heads and either nods or says yes to Julian. I address the pack, "I expect everyone to treat Lukas and Mercedes with the same respect and love that you have shown us. We are fully supportive of any and all decisions and choices they will make in their position. Represent the Blood Moon pack with pride and dignity. You are all dismissed." 

    Everyone says their goodbyes then before I know it the room is empty except for Julian and I. Julian lets out a sigh then sits back in his chair. I sit next to him and take hold of his hand. "Julian, my love, don't worry, we knew not everyone would be ecstatic about our choice. We must stand by them. Remember how difficult it was for us when we started? I know they will do just fine. They have us, and our support. The Elder council backed our decision. They agreed with it. What is the matter?" Julian slowly turned and looked at me, "Yes Emilia, I know. I love them both as if they were my own but she's a hybrid, and a rare one at that. There was never another like her. What are we to expect? She will receive lots of hatred." I raise my eyebrow at his words. Julian notices and shrinks back into his chair. "People fear what they don't know. People fear the unknown. I know who she is, I know her heart. YOU know her. She will bring greatness. She will be strong. You know this. Stop doubting her or you will have to deal with me. This conversation is over. We must be going. We have to discuss this with them." Julian replies, "Emmie, Luke already knows. I spoke to him. He must've already told her; they don't keep anything from each other. I'm sure she knows."

***Mercedes Point of View***

    The walk back from the clearing seemed a lot quicker than the walk to it. I guess the anticipation made it just seemed longer? I'm not sure. We arrive at the backyard and see that the boat is returned. The guys must be done with their water sports for the day. Luke points at Austyn who is sitting on the lounger on the beach. "I'm going to talk to him. I’ll be back. Meet inside?" I nod then head inside. I decide to change into my swimsuit. There's still plenty of daylight left and I want to get some time in the water. I head up to change. Once dressed I look in the mirror. My body feels sore, but I don't know why. I rub my neck since that seems to be bothering me the most. I feel something that wasn't there before. It burns to the touch and makes me flinch and wince with pain. I use one of my makeup mirrors and see a faint white blotch in the middle of my neck. I'm not sure what that s**t is but I definitely won't be touching it anymore. I think it might be a rash. I ignore it and grab Luke's swim shorts and head back to the beach.

    Walking to the beach I see Luke and Austyn talking. Austyn is smiling and Luke looks happy. They both stop talking when they notice me approaching. I smile at them and say, "Hi Aus. Sleep well?" He smiles, "Slept like a baby after you left. I was wiped out!" Luke laughs and they high five. I hand Luke his swim shorts and head to the water. Luke says, "Thanks baby. But hey maybe some time we can make it a group event." I don't look back because I'm blushing, I can feel my face turn red. I hear Austyn's excitement when he says, "I am fully supportive of that idea." As I get into the water I turn and say, "Maybe." I don't wait for a response; I just dive under water. The water is a little cold, but I quickly get used to it. I slowly break the surface of the water after a few seconds. I look up at the sky. There are a few clouds that have formed but they don't look like rain clouds. They are white, fluffy clouds that provide some shade in various areas of the water and beach. I am waist deep, but I think I want to go a little deeper. I swim out until the water is up to my shoulders. The water actually does feel nice. Its crystal clear so I can see some small fish swimming around. I don't see Luke on the beach or in the water, he might be changing into his shorts. I smile at Austyn. A blue jay fly towards the boathouse and lands on the roof. Luke walks out of the boathouse. He is wearing his swim shorts. He gestures at Austyn to come to the water. Austyn stands up as Nancy calls out to us, Dinner will be ready at 6:00. Please be punctual and dress nicely Emmie is having people join us for dinner. Austyn responds as him and Luke walk into the water. Nancy calls out once more, "Play nicely boys! You had better behave yourselves." Luke smiles at me and responds to Nancy, "Yes ma'am." Nancy shuts the door. 

    Austyn and Luke swim out to me... both of them looking absolutely glorious. Austyn looks at both of us and says, "Wonder who else is coming to dinner." I don't know who else but as I was about to respond Luke says, "Pack members. After dinner it is tradition for the Wolf Elder council to witness the future Luna's first shift. Since I'm going to be Alpha they did the same for me." Austyn tries to respond but I interrupt him, "Wait what? We're going to be Alpha and Luna? Why didn't I know about this?" Austyn says, "I'm not sure why you don't know but I figured that Emmie would have told you." Luke looks surprised, "You didn't know? Baby don't worry, it’s a huge honor." I really am not upset, I think... I just wish someone could've told me. "I get that but why am I the last to know. How does this work?" Luke starts explaining how it works. Austyn occasionally comments. It doesn't seem difficult. We have a few years to learn. He has to be 19 and I have to be 18. At least we'll have more reason to keep coming up here. It seems like a lot to handle but I have Luke to help me. Oh, and Julian and Emmie too.

    Some time passes after enjoying our time together in the water. Being with both of them just feels... right... like as a person. Not because I am supposed to be with them. It seems like, I don't know how to put this into words, um... it seems like home. We all head inside to clean up and get ready for dinner. I am nervous, but also excited, to meet the pack. I hope they are nice. I hope they like me. Luke and I reach our room. There is a rack of dresses and shoes on top of the rack for me to choose from. I see a note from Emmie, it says, 'Choose wisely sweetheart. First impressions are everything. Luke will choose a tie to match your dress. Dinner will be in the ballroom; we are expecting 43 guests to welcome you. We are so proud of you. See you soon Doll' There is six dresses for me to choose from. They all look very beautiful but just one catches my eye. It is a dark blue long-sleeved floor-length dress with a Mesh top with lace and sequin detailing. The bottom of the dress has no detailing, but it perfectly compliments and accentuates the detailing on the top half of the dress, and it feels so soft. I carefully take it off the rack as Luke finishes reading the note from Emmie. He looks up and says, "Oh my... yes, baby that's the one. He looks at the shoes and grabs a pair of silver sandal style heels and hands them to me. They look like they are the type of shoes that will lace up to my calf. "Wear it with these. Wow, you're going to look f*****g gorgeous baby girl." Luke looks so happy. He picks out a blue tie with faint silver and blue designs. 

    Luke showers first then I go after him. I hear Luke rustling about in the bathroom. "Baby girl, where's my hair pomade?" I reply, "In the closet, on the end table by the vanity mirror." Luke thanks me then rushes out of the bathroom. I hear him running, "Luke relax. You're making me nervous." I call out to him. He's rattling my nerves, I had to say something. Luke calls back to me after a minute or so, "Emmie called me, she said not to wear Jewelry. She said once the dinner and party are over, we will go to the clearing in the woods and you will have to change into some old clothes for your first shift. She says jewelry will break." I acknowledge him. I turn the shower off and start to get dressed. The dress fits perfectly. I didn't notice but there was a long slit on the dress, it goes all the way to the middle of my thigh. This dress looks gorgeous on me. I look at the detailing on the mesh sleeve, it looks so pretty. 

    I decide to let my hair do its own natural thing. I add in some leave in conditioner and dry it a little. My hair gets a nice, soft wave to it. I don't know what I did to make it cooperate with me tonight, but every strand of hair falls nicely into place. I sit in front of the vanity and decide to do a copper and dark brown smokey eye. I use a little bit of gold. It doesn't take me long to do my eyeshadow. I clean up some of the fall out and decide to do a winged eye liner look, since I've recently mastered this skill. I put on a couple coats of mascara and look at myself. Wow... this looks nice. I look closer at myself, damn... very very nice. I grab my dark red lip stain and put it on and spray some perfume to finish getting ready. I walk to the bathroom to grab some hairspray, but I stop when I see Luke staring at me. His jaw is practically on the floor. I giggle, "You okay?" Luke stutters, "I-I... um I am now." He looks so handsome in his suit. 

    I walk up to him and straighten his tie. Luke watches my every move. Words are not needed in this moment. I slowly lower my head, not breaking eye contact. Luke smiles and slowly nods in response. I head to bathroom and use a little bit of hair spray. Luke walks in and says, "Can we take a picture?" He gestures at his phone which he set up on the table facing the window. We take a few pictures. We look perfect together in each picture. The pictures capture the way we look at each other. We both smile as we are looking at them. Luke stops scrolling through the pictures, "I know I tell you this a lot, I'm sorry. I love you, so much." I kiss him on the cheek, "There is no such thing as telling me too much, I love you too." He leans in towards me to kiss me, we are centimeters away from kissing when we hear a knock on the door. Horrible timing...

    Luke throws his head back and grunted in frustration, "Horrible timing. Coming, one second." I hear Emmie through the door, "Coming in kiddos." Luke stopped as Emmie and Julian walked into the room. Emmie smiled and quickly wiped a tear off her face, "Bless me! You both look absolutely perfect. Luke," she says as she cups his face in her hands, "You look so handsome! And Mercedes, oh my goodness," she turns and embraces me, "You look stunning. We are so proud of you, both." Julian walks over to Luke and shakes his hand. Emmie and I stop and watch as Julian continues to hold Luke's hand. He pulls him in to a hug. Julian then comes over to me and hugs me as well, then says, "Alright, everyone is here. Luke you will walk in with me and Mercedes, you with Emmie. You both look great. Act confident and proud, keep your chin slightly raised, Luke keep your shoulders back. Smile, make eye contact with the crowd. Everyone is excited to meet you. Follow where we take you." Luke and I nod in unison. We start to walk as Emmie says, "Remember, your pack is your family. The bond is just as strong. Mingle and get to know everyone. Luke, keep Mercedes on your arm, its shows other men that she is your mate and cannot be touched by another man. Most importantly, have fun and enjoy yourselves. Whatever you do, don't drink Jacob's whiskey." Julian laughs.

    We arrive at the doors outside the ballroom. We can hear the crowd talking. Julian calls someone from his phone and tells the person that we are here. I hear a microphone turn on and a man say, "Can I please have your attention Blood Moon pack. For those of you who don't know, my name is Aaron Cornelius. I am the pack's Beta. Please turn your attention to the double doors by the dance floor. Our Alpha, Julian Black and his Luna, Emilia Black, have arrived with their predecessors. Please give a proper Blood Moon welcome to our future Alpha and Luna, Lukas Morales and Mercedes D'Souza! I feel my nervousness melt away as the doors are opened and we walk through. I hear the sound of cheering, howling, and applause taking over the room. I smile and glance over to Luke. He looks so handsome. I look around the room. There are so many friendly faces, smiling back and nodding in approval. We head to a table that is at the front of the room. Jay, Casey, and Austyn are all sitting at the table with their jaws dropped open once they see me. Luke laughs as I take him by the arm. While walking around the table I quietly ask Luke, "Do Jay and Casey know about all this?" He smiles and responds, "They already knew about the pack, and wolves. They found out yesterday that you are a Succubus. I told them." 

    We sit and Julian takes the microphone from Aaron. The room instantly falls silent as Julian grabs the microphone. The respect they give him is amazing. Luke and I look at him with awe. He speaks, "Thank you all for attending this momentous occasion. We hope you all accept Luke and Mercedes as you have accepted us. They have our full support and they will start learning their roles tomorrow morning. Please be helpful and supportive of them as they transition into this role. Tonight is also your future Luna's birthday today. she turns 16 and will experience her first transition today. Luke, Mercedes," Julian says as he takes Emmie by the hand, "We are incredibly proud of both of you. We have no doubts that you will do great things for the Pack and with the pack. Emmie and I stand behind you. We will always be there to guide and counsel you. Now everyone, let's eat!" Caterers come to our table with a few different cuts of steak, mashed potatoes, and corn. We all enjoy each other's company and conversation while we are eating. Austyn and Luke make eye contact then grin at each other. They both look at me, as Luke whispers in my ear, "I think Aus wants some dessert tonight also. Are you down baby?" I look down and smile. Yeah, you know what. They are mine, I'm there's. I want them both. I look up at Luke and look him dead in his eyes, "Yes. Both of you can have as much as you want." I reach under the table and brush my hand over Luke's zipper, brushing over his tip. Luke's eyes are very wide, he looks over to Austyn and quickly nods his head. Austyn grins at me. Lord, what have I done? I think to myself as I laugh.

    The night is going by quickly everyone I have met so far are very nice. Luke and I are very social. We are going to every table and greeting everyone. I feel so welcomed. Every seems, ordinary. I guess I didn't know what to expect. Everyone seems so kind, I feel like a part of the pack, part of the family. Luke and I walk to the next table. There is 6 people at the table. There are 2 older men and 2 older women. They turn to us and smile. One of the men stand up and shakes Luke's hand. "Hello Luke and Mercedes, my name is George this is my mate and wife Tracy. This is our son, Samuel and his mate, Christine." I look towards Samuel and Christine. Samuel stands up. He takes a few steps towards Luke and stops so close in front him, he's almost toe to toe with him. Luke doesn't step away or react. I hear Samuel quietly growl while looking Luke dead in his eyes. Luke doesn't look away and returns his growl. I interrupt this testosterone showdown and clear my throat. Samuel is first to break eye contact with Luke to acknowledge my presence. I take a step towards him and say, "Nice to meet you Samuel." Samuel takes a step away from Luke and turns towards me with a curious look on his face. He tilts his head and raises his eyebrow while looking at me up and down. I feel Luke's muscles tense on the arm that I am holding on to. Samuel speaks, "Yeah. Sure." Christine touches Samuel's arm and he breaks eye contact with me. The other older man stands up and walks to Luke and also shakes his hand. "I'm sorry about all that," He says as he looks at Samuel and gives him a death glare. "I'm not sure what's going on with my Daughter's mate. My name is Daniel Nelson, this is my wife, and mate Julia Nelson." Both of the older women stand up and walk over to me. They compliment everything they possibly can about me as their husbands talk to Luke. I can feel Samuel staring at me, it makes me feel uncomfortable and uneasy. He makes me feel like at any moment he's going to pounce and kidnap me. I pull my eyes away from Julia who is talking about the pack and their role and look at Samuel again, who is still staring at me. Tracy noticed and turned towards her son. Standing between us she puts both hands on the table and leans towards him, "You will stop whatever this is immediately. Show some respect. Do not disgrace our family young man." Samuel doesn't respond. He just gets up and leaves. Julian walks up to Luke and whispers something in his ear. Luke looks back at him and nods then Julian smiles at me as he turns and walks away. Luke looks at me and says, "Its time Mercedes." He doesn't need to say anything further. we say our goodbyes to the guests. Julian stays behind to further entertain the party guests but gives me a warm and long embrace before I leave with Luke and Emmie. Emmie holds my hand on one side and Luke puts his arm around my shoulder. I feel my heart in my throat. Its time.

    I listen to myself calmly breathe. The night is cool, but not cold and the sky is clear. Emmie and Luke walk me to the boathouse where Nancy is waiting with a change of clothes. I quickly change out of my dress and shoes and give them to Nancy. She smiles and hugs me. "You will be fine sweetheart. I'll make you my famous vanilla pancakes in the morning." I meet Luke and Emmie back outside. These clothes are comfortable. Emmie says, "So when we reach the North clearing there will be 4 patrol wolves present to make sure we are all safe. As tradition requires, the elder council will also be present to witness your shift. I will have you watch Luke shift then I will have you remove those clothes and I will take them and keep them at the boathouse for when you shift back. I will talk you through the whole process. Once you shift you will be able to mind link with all of us. Remember to just breathe through the whole process. Stay as calm as you can. Luke kisses me on the forehead. I look up at him and he says, "Remember what I showed you earlier. Remember what I told you." I was about to respond but Emmie speaks before I do, "We are here." Luke get ready to shift." Luke kisses me once more then walks to the center of the clearing the moon is so bright tonight. It is illuminating the area. I see 4 massive wolves. They are much larger than the average wolf but they look so, majestic. Emmie holds my hand and she leads me a little closer to Luke, in the clearing. He hands Emmie his clothes which she sets on a nearby tree stump. Luke looks at me and winks as he squats down putting his hands flat on the grass. I stare, intently, as Luke closes his eyes and tilts his head towards the sky. He lets out a growl and opens his eyes, looking directly at me. His eyes glowed, a beautiful emerald green. My muscles start to really hurt. I know Emmie can tell because she looked at me when the pain started. She said, "It's already starting for you. Breathe Mercedes. Focus on Luke for now..." I don't hear the rest of her sentence, she gets drowned out by the sound of bones breaking and skin tearing. I am watching Luke's body tear and break. He growls again as his body quickly reshapes in to his wolf form. Dark jet-black fur quickly replaces his tan skin. All is silent as Luke rises. He is massive. He takes a few steps towards me and bows his head to me. I can't take my eyes off of him. His eyes are so captivating. I've never seen anything greener in my entire life. Emmie puts her hand on my shoulder, "Go to the middle Mercedes." I do as she says. Luke watches me. He looks up and sniffs the air as I hand my clothing to Emmie. She sets it near Luke's clothes and turns to face me. She says, "Squat just as Luke did but don't kneel. That makes it a lot more uncomfortable. Close your eyes and focus. Concentrate on your wolf. Focus... breathe." I do exactly as Emmie says. I hear Emmie's voice, calmly telling me to breathe. Her voice is relaxing. I focus on my wolf. My skin feels hot, like it’s on fire. I break focus for a second and open my eyes. I hear Emmie say, "Whoa..." I close my eyes and focus again, ignoring the fire that seems to be burning away my skin. I growl for the first time; I almost scare myself. I feel my arms contort and break, then my legs. I feel each individual bone break as I try to hold in a scream, and force myself to think about earlier, with Luke at the clearing. I picture us sitting like we were. I am focused on that thought and Emmie continuing to calmly tell me to breathe. I let out a loud guttural growl as I feel my rib cage open, my spine break, and organs rearrange. I feel my body reshaping itself. I hear the most sickening sound of my skin tearing away. Suddenly I feel like a million needles are slowly piercing through my body. My eyes are still closed. This is so painful. I can't imagine anything worse than this.

    Everything suddenly stops after what feels like an hour. I hear Luke's voice, "Baby, you did it. You are beautiful. I love you." Whoa... right... mind linking, let’s give it a shot. "Can you hear me Luke?" Luke's face lights up as he responds, "Wow, you picked up that skill fast. great job. I hear you." I hear an unfamiliar voice. I look over and see 7 men and women talking to Emmie. One of them says, "She's a silver wolf. That's very very rare Emilia." Emmie mind links with me, "Mercedes you and Luke can go. Great job baby doll! Go look at your reflection in the water." I look behind me at the lake then turn back to Emmie. I am so grateful for her, "Emmie thank you." She just smiles at me and turns back to the council who are all smiling at me. I bow to them, they bow back. Luke nudges me and we run to the lake. I can't believe how fast I'm moving. I feel so powerful, so great... We quickly get to the lake and stop at the edge. I look at the water and see my reflection. I am shocked. I look like I jumped out of a fairytale book... or something. My fur is silvery white, I am a little smaller than Luke but still pretty big. I look closer to the water. My eyes are the same color as my succubus, but a little brighter, they are glowing. They are mesmerizing. I see a black blur run past me into the lake! Luke mind links with me and starts laughing, "Did I scare ya?" He actually did but I can't give him the satisfaction, "Um, no. I thought you tripped or something." Luke squints at me, "Sure you did. Wanna come in?" I'm already running in as he finishes his sentence. Luke and I swim and mess around in the lake. We talk about a lot of things. He tells me that him and I have to dedicate part of our summers to the pack. We need to come up and learn everything. He also mentions that Julian and his Beta are going to teach us how to fight. We will learn everything we need to know before we fully take over the pack. We stop swimming but we run around to different places. Luke shows me where our territory ends. He shows me basically everything. It was a lot to take in and a little overwhelming, but I loved every minute. We see many other pack members, they all stare with amazement and smile. We meet the pack warriors, basically wolf cops who are trained like soldiers. We decide that it’s time to head back to the ranch. Luke has reminded me about his 'dessert' a few times. He's got me all hot and bothered about it. As we approach the boathouse Luke explains how to change back. I watch Luke start to change back as he walks. It looks so simple, much easier than the shift. I concentrate and do the same. Luke opens the door to the boathouse and lets me in. Luke's phone is on the bar counter. As I change, I hear him call someone, "Hey where you at man? Yeah, we're back. Dude she's a fuckin silver with some blue ass eyes. We'll come up, you ready for dessert?" Luke wraps up the phone call but before he can speak, I say, "I want dessert too, hurry your ass up, let’s go. I turn and we both run to the house. I feel myself exploding with anticipation. Happy Birthday to me. Now I get my treats.

    We get to Austyn's room. Luke looks at me and smiles. Uh... THAT smile melts my heart. Austyn answers the door and we walk in. He greets me with kiss and smiles at Luke. Austyn smiles at us then runs and jumps into his bed. He pats the bed and says, "Small talk later. Dessert time." Luke takes off his shirt and we both walk to the bed. Austyn takes off his shirt too and tosses it to the side. He sits and rests against the mirrored headboard as I sit at the foot of the bed. Aus abruptly stands up and head to the door, "I'm going to lock this." As he does, I feel Luke behind me. He picks me up and sets me in his lap, facing away from him at the foot of the bed. He's already undressed. That was quick... Austyn grins at me and take off his sweatpants. He drapes them over the couch as he walks over to me. I'm watching him as Luke moves my hair, kissing my neck and nibbling on my ears. Austyn stops in front of me and slides off his boxers as Luke takes off my shirt revealing my bare skin. Luke is so hard already, so is Austyn. I am ready for them, to be with them both. I want this. They want this. Austyn helps me to my feet and kisses me as Luke slides down my pants. From behind me, Luke plays with my chest, and my body. I can feel the warmth of his p***s as he presses it against my lower back. Luke and Austyn walk me back to the edge of the bed.
