Daisy brushed her hair back as she looked out from the front door of her parents’ farmhouse. They were away for the week on a well-earned break. Ever since she could remember, they’d worked on the farm from dawn till dusk, day in, day out. In fact, it was what had made her so determined to move away in the first place.
She glanced up the path that led up to the farmhouse and saw a man"s form coming towards her. She c****d her head to the side, not quite knowing who it could be that was arriving, nor what they wanted.
