Lillies pov Immediately I shouted mate, I felt my wolf trying to take control I do not know when I got the will power from but I kept trying to push her down , I pushed him back and cleared my throat, trying to regain my composure. "I... I apologize. I got carried away," he said, his voice a low rumble. "The taste of your blood... it's intoxicating." I glared at him, my chest heaving. "You can't just... do that!" "I know," he said, stepping back, giving me space. "I promise, I'll be more careful. But, please, understand this is new to me as well. I've never felt this way about anyone." My expression softened slightly, the anger fading, replaced by a mixture of confusion and... something else. Curiosity? Desire? It was hard to tell. "What... what happens now?" I asked, my voice barely a whisper. He took a step forward, closing the distance between us again. "Now," he said, his voice dropping to a seductive murmur, "we learn about each other. We navigate this... connection. And we try not to kill each other in the process." A small smile played on his lips. "Unless, of course, you want to." I rolled my eyes, but the corners of my mouth twitching upwards. "You're impossible." "Maybe," he replied, feeling a spark of hope. "But I'm your impossible." The tension in the air shifted, and I could sense my wolf stirring within me. I knew that she was beginning to understand the bond we shared. "What do I need to know about being a werewolf?" I asked, my curiosity piqued. He took a deep breath, preparing himself to share the knowledge he had gathered I guess. "First, you need to understand that your body will change. You’ll experience heightened senses, strength, and agility. The transformation can be overwhelming, especially during the full moon." I nodded, absorbing the information. "And the blood?" I asked, my gaze piercing into his. "What does it mean?" "Your blood is a part of our bond," he explained. "It signifies our connection. When I tasted it, I felt a rush of emotions, a sense of belonging. It’s a powerful thing." My cheeks flushed again, and I couldn't help but notice how he was staring at me hungrily . "So, what do we do now?" I asked, my voice steadying. "We train,"he said, a grin spreading across his face. "I’ll help you learn to control your wolf, to embrace it. And in return, you’ll teach me about being human, about love, and everything in between." "Deal," i replied, extending my hand toward him ,he took it, and I felt a jolt of electricity pass between us. It was a promise, a commitment to each other. Over the next few weeks, we met every day after school. He guided me through the basics of my new identity, teaching me how to tap into my wolf's instincts. We practiced in the secluded woods behind his house, away from prying eyes. Each session brought us closer, and I found myself falling deeper for him. One evening, as the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the trees, he noticed me struggling to shift. "Focus," he urged, his voice steady. "Feel the power within you. Let it flow." I gritted my teeth, determination etched on my face. "I can do this," I muttered, my hands trembling. "Yes, you can,"he encouraged. "Just breathe. Trust yourself." With a sudden burst of energy, I let out a primal scream, and he watched in awe as my body began to change. My bones shifted, fur sprouted, and within moments, I stood before him a magnificent wolf, my eyes gleaming with intelligence. I couldn’t help but smile, pride swelling in my chest. "I did it!" I exclaimed, my heart racing. "You’re incredible." Thank you so much, I said to him. I padded toward him, nuzzling against his leg, and he knelt down, running his fingers through my fur. It was soft and warm, and I felt a connection that transcended words. "This is just the beginning," he whispered, my breath hitching in my throat. After a moment, I shifted back into my human form, panting slightly. "That was... amazing," I said, my eyes sparkling with excitement. "I didn't think I could do it." "You have so much strength inside you," he replied, his voice sounding sincere. "You just needed to believe in yourself." As the days turned into weeks, our bond deepened. We shared laughter, secrets, and moments of vulnerability. He learned about my dreams, my fears, and the challenges I faced as a human. In turn, he opened up about his past, his struggles with being a vampire, and the loneliness that often accompanied it. One night, as we sat under the stars, he turned to me, looking a little nervous . "Can I ask you something?" He said, his voice barely above a whisper.
