Anastasia: My heart leaped out of my chest when I stepped into my room. An unsettling stillness filled the air, the cold estate whispering into my ear, with the mirror shut. The bedside lamp lights cast shadows on the walls, my chest tightening holding my heart within. I stood close to the door making sure no one had just left my room, but it was quiet, my bed still straight, my wardrobe door open like I had left it but I could feel that he was there. He just left. I took a deep breath, blinking my eyes to see if I was still in reality.
