Zander I stood out on balcony. The buildings and lights. It has been a while since I was first here. Ding* Brad: HEY! I heard your back! Zander: yea. Miss me? *sarcasm* Brad: LOL! You wish! I can't wait to show you my new car, but I wont let you drive it knowing what a horrible driver you are! Zander: I think someone needs a reality check, last time I checked, you were the one that almost crashed my car last time I was here! Brad: oh yea, I forgot about that. HAHA. Anyways, are you coming back to NeverFall? Zander: yea Brad: Give me a ride? Zander: Sure. Brad: cool! Still remember where I live or did you forget about your best friend already? Zander: best friend? Ha, when did we become best friends? Brad: real funny. *eye roll* Ill see you tomorrow ------------------------------------------------ How did he know! I landed only a few hours ago, word sure travels fast here. I better get some sleep; the jet lag is getting to me. --------------------------------------------------- The next morning, I decided to go casual with white sneakers, jeans, and a long gray sleeve shirt. As I was waiting for Brad to come out from his house, I saw a boy getting practically thrown out of the door of the house a few blocks down. Although, it was far I can still make out the shape of an large guy grabbing the boy by his shirt collar and spatting out words onto the boys face. The boy just let him shout and didn't retaliate at all, accepting it like it was normal. Hmm strange... Click, bang, I looked over to Brad. "Hey! Long time! Wow you still look good! haha!" I put on some music and started to drive off. I turned to look back at the boy, but he was gone, and the house was quite again.  The first day back was ... well okay, I guess. Everything was the same. Girls *eye roll* I do not think they understand what not being interested means. I threw my backpack back next to the foot of my bed and turned on the T.V. When I closed my eyes, my mind drifted to that boy... Being back in the cafeteria, sitting with Brad and random people that I did not really know, I saw that boy again. He walked out before I could say anything. I didn't know why, but I can't get him out of my mind. ugh! I threw a pillow over my head out of frustration. I have never felt this way before. I sat up, took two pills and went to sleep. The next day, everything was the same. That is until 4rd period, as I was walking towards the cafeteria I saw 2 guys shoving some kid around. I continued to walk, ignoring the scene until I heard a loud smash. I turned around, to my surprise it was that boy again! One of the guys thought it would be a good idea to bang his head on the locker, he fell down holding his head, looking pained. I don't know what came over me, all I saw was red. The next thing I know, I had knocked both out. A circle had formed around us, but I didn't care. I calmed myself down and helped the boy on the ground up. "Thanks" he said in a low and weak whisper, when he looked up my mouth almost dropped, he was ... wow.. the most beautiful boy I have ever seen, he looked so sweet and innocent. His brown eyes, his peach colored lips, I can tell he was clinching his teeth in pain....   He fainted on the way to the nurse's office, so I decided to carry him bridal style. I saw the others whisper again; I didn't really care. I looked at the boy I was carrying. He was light... lighter than I expected, his face..... was messed up. Them guys really did a number on him, the more I looked, the more bruises I saw.... he had a black eye, his lips were busted on the side, he cheeks were bruised badly... a massive cut on his chin. Wait a cut?! I don't remember the guys having anything that could have cut him. But when I looked again, the cut had already started to scab... maybe it was from another time. I will make sure this never happens again. I can feel the anger rising in me. I will make everyone who hurt this boy suffer. I felt a need to protect him... When we arrived at the nurse's office, she looked at him then me then him again. She said in a bored tone "you can leave him here." Pointing at the bed she had in the corner of the room. I slowly set him down, not wanting to hurt him even more. Feeling anger, I decided to ditch the rest of the day.
