Jin, as usual, woke up earlier than the sun, ready for his daily mission: waking Taehyung. He believed it was a noble quest, akin to saving the world from impending doom. But today wasn’t just any day; it was the day they would set their plan in motion to “destroy” JJK. Little did they know, a storm was brewing in Taehyung's life, and it was about to hit like a ton of bricks. Jin leaned over, poking Taehyung's shoulder with the enthusiasm of a toddler on Christmas morning. “Taehyung... Taehyung... TAEHYUNG.... KIM FREAKING TAEHYUNG!” he shouted, practically launching his voice into the stratosphere. Taehyung jolted awake, eyes still half-closed, and mumbled, “What happened? Did Namjoon Hyung break something again?” His hair was a glorious mess, resembling a bird's nest that had seen better days. Jin, now boiling with a mix of anger and amusement, threatened, “If you don’t get up and get ready, I swear I’ll paint your ass red with my slipper! You have an office to get to!” Taehyung blinked a few times, processing the threat while still trying to shake off the remnants of sleep. “Hah!! Oh y-yeah! I have an office!” he exclaimed, throwing the blanket off like it was a villain in a superhero movie. He dashed toward the washroom, leaving a trail of confusion and a sock behind. Jin couldn’t help but chuckle as he joined the chaos downstairs to whip up breakfast for Taehyung, Namjoon, and himself. “If only waking you up was as easy as making pancakes,” he muttered, flipping a pancake that somehow landed perfectly on the plate. “But then again, I’d probably need a spatula for that!” As he cooked, he could hear Taehyung in the washroom, singing a tune that only a half-asleep person could appreciate. “Is that the sound of a man getting ready or a cat in distress?” Jin shouted, shaking his head with a grin. ............................. Taehyung burst out of the washroom, his eyes darting to the clock. “6 AM?!” he exclaimed, panic setting in as he realized he only had one hour to get ready. He dashed to his small walk-in closet, rifling through his clothes like a contestant on a fashion game show. He finally settled on a pair of navy blue pants that hugged his legs just right, a crisp white shirt that looked like it was ironed by angels, and a matching tie that could make even a potato look sophisticated. The look was finished with a sleek navy blue blazer that exuded seriousness. He quickly changed, combed his hair back to expose his shining forehead, and spritzed on some cologne that could probably knock out a bear from ten feet away. A silver watch adorned his left wrist, and with a final check in the mirror, he blew a kiss to his reflection. “Looking good, Tae!” he said with a wink before racing downstairs. “HYUNGIE! My breakfast! I’m late!” he shouted, practically flying down the stairs. “Yah! Stop shouting! Breakfast is ready!” Jin called back, trying not to laugh as he watched Taehyung skid into the dining room. He plopped down on a chair and began devouring his breakfast like he was in a competitive eating contest. “Hey, slow down! You’ll choke!” Namjoon chuckled, shaking his head. “Hyung, I’m already late!” Taehyung replied, mouth full of toast. “That’s why I told you to wake up earlier, you snoozing bug!” Jin teased, pouring juice for Taehyung. “Sorry, Hyung! Next time, I promise!” Taehyung said between gulps of juice. “Easy, bro! You have 40 minutes until you need to leave,” Namjoon reminded him. “Hyung, it’s a 30-minute drive! Logically, I have 10 minutes left, and I want to make a good impression on my boss!” Taehyung said, smirking as he dashed to the nearby washroom to rinse his mouth and straighten his clothes. “Hyung, can I borrow your car today?” Taehyung asked, hopefully. “I’ve got something for you,” Namjoon said, a mischievous glint in his eye. “What is it?” Taehyung asked, raising an eyebrow as he noticed the chuckles between Namjoon and Jin. “Let’s go pick up your bag, baby bro,” Jin said, leading the way. Taehyung followed, still confused, until they arrived at a covered object in the garage. “Where?” he asked, squinting at Namjoon. “Jin, show him,” Namjoon said, grinning. Jin dramatically pulled back the cover, revealing a brand new dark purple BMW M3 that glistened like a jewel. “WTH?! Who bought this?!” Taehyung blinked rapidly, trying to process what he was seeing. Namjoon tossed him the keys. “This is for you, Tae.” “WHAT?!” Taehyung gasped, utterly shocked. “Yes!” Namjoon confirmed, beaming. “But H…how?” Taehyung stammered. “We’re hackers, baby bro,” Namjoon said with a wink. “And besides, you’re on the biggest mission of your life, so you deserve it!” His genuine smile made Taehyung’s heart swell. Taehyung threw his arms around Namjoon in a tight hug. “Thank you for being my Hyung and a father figure for me!” he said, emotion welling up in his voice. “We’re family, Tae,” Namjoon replied, returning the embrace and giving Taehyung a reassuring pat on the back. “Now, quickly go to the office, or you’ll be late!” Jin urged, trying to keep the mood light. Taehyung nodded eagerly, and Jin opened the door for him with a flourish, bowing like a royal butler. Taehyung couldn’t help but laugh at the sight, leaning over to peck Jin’s cheek. “Thanks, Hyung!” “Hey! He’s my husband, okay?” Namjoon said dramatically, feigning jealousy. Taehyung chuckled as he slid into the driver’s seat of his new car. “Let’s start this new mission and see where life takes us!” he declared, revving the engine. With that, he drove off, excitement bubbling within him as he embarked on a new chapter of his life. ....................................... --- Taehyung arrived at the office precisely at 6:55 AM. He quickly parked his car in the lot and hurried inside, making a beeline for the reception desk. A smirk tugged at his lips as he recognized the same receptionist from before. "Let’s see if I can sweep her off her feet," he thought, feeling the thrill of the moment and the pressure of time. “Hello, pretty lady,” he said, his deep voice dripping with charm as he leaned casually against the counter. The receptionist looked up, her cheeks flushing as she stammered, “H-Hello, sir. How may I help you?” Taehyung revelled in her flustered state. “My office entry card, please?” “O-Oh, right! Just give me a minute,” she replied, flustered but eager to assist. “Sure, but hurry up, or I’ll be late,” he teased, a playful glint in his eyes. After a moment, she handed him the card, her hands trembling slightly. “Here’s your card. Best of luck on your first day!” “Thanks,” Taehyung replied, flashing her a charming smile before scanning his card and dashing to the elevator. He reached the 30th floor just as the clock struck 7:00 AM. He knocked twice on the president's door, and a deep voice resonated from within. “Come in.” Taehyung turned the knob and entered, bowing slightly in respect. “Hello, sir,” he greeted, his tone professional. Jungkook looked up, a small smile playing on his lips, though he maintained his cool demeanor. “Hello, Mr. Kim. You’re on time. Good job,” he said, eyeing Taehyung from head to toe. "He’s so perfect," Jungkook thought, feeling a rush of warmth. "Get it together, JK. Be professional." “Thank you, sir,” Taehyung replied. “How should I start my work?” he asked, a hint of eagerness in his voice. “Oh, yes. You’ll need to review these files before 2 PM. We have a meeting at 2:15 sharp. Am I clear?” Jungkook instructed in a businesslike tone “Yes, sir,” Taehyung responded, adopting a serious demeanour. With that, Jungkook returned to his work on the laptop, but Taehyung stood awkwardly, stealing glances at him. “Hmm, Mr. Kim,” Jungkook said, noticing his lingering presence. “Do you need something?” “Uh, I’m sorry, but I can’t review these files while standing,” Taehyung replied, a sassy lilt to his voice. Jungkook chuckled at the unexpected sass. “I’m sorry, Mr. Kim. There’s your seat,” he gestured to a corner desk in front of him. Taehyung raised an eyebrow. “Should I have to sit in your cabin, sir?” “Yes. Any problem?” Jungkook replied, his voice deep and cool. “N-No, sir,” Taehyung stammered, a mixture of surprise and excitement coursing through him. “Okay then, start your work, Mr. Kim,” Jungkook said, returning to his laptop, a hint of amusement lingering in his eyes. --- Taehyung sauntered over to his desk, exuding confidence as he slipped off his blazer and rolled up his sleeves, revealing his toned forearms. He hung his blazer on the stand beside him and settled into his chair, pulling out his laptop and diving into the files Jungkook had assigned him. Meanwhile, Jungkook couldn’t help but steal glances at Taehyung. He watched as Taehyung’s muscles flexed beneath his shirt while he worked, the sight making Jungkook bite down on his lower lip to stifle a groan. 'f**k, he’s so hot and sexy,' he thought, feeling a heat rising within him. 'Those thick thighs and that small waist are just perfect for my hands.' His mind raced with tantalizing images of Taehyung beneath him, of how he would look with those strong thighs wrapped around his waist. 'Urgh, JK, just relax. Be professional...' he reminded himself, shaking his head in a futile attempt to dispel the growing desire. But as he shifted in his seat, he couldn’t ignore the undeniable bulge forming between his legs. 'f**k,' he thought again, trying to focus on his laptop, but the distraction of Taehyung’s presence was almost overwhelming. ........................................ --- After about four hours of focused work, the clock struck noon. The only sounds filling the room were the rhythmic clicking of laptop keyboards and the soft shuffling of papers, punctuated by their breaths. Taehyung, having diligently reviewed files, felt the fatigue creeping in. He flexed his arms, trying to shake off the tension, and cracked his neck to ease the tightness. “I could really use a coffee,” he thought, standing up. He turned to Jungkook, who looked up, his exhaustion evident. “Sir, do you want some coffee? I was just about to make some for myself,” Taehyung asked, a hint of hope in his voice. “Yeah, please,” Jungkook replied with a faint smile, his eyes lighting up at the thought of Taehyung's gesture. “Okay, sir!” Taehyung responded cheerfully, his smile infectious. He quickly made his way to the coffee bar installed in the office. “Mr. Kim, I’ll have a double shot of espresso,” Jungkook called out. Taehyung gave him a thumbs-up, and Jungkook couldn’t help but chuckle softly, whispering, “Cute,” to himself. As Taehyung prepared their coffee, Jungkook leaned back in his chair, watching him with an intensity that made his heart race. 'I hope you’ll love me one day the way I love you,' he thought, feeling a swell of emotion. 'You have no idea how much you control my mind and heart with just one look. Every time you smile, it feels like my world lights up.' Lost in his thoughts, Jungkook closed his eyes, imagining a future where Taehyung would be more than just a colleague. Just then, Taehyung returned, placing a steaming cup in front of him. “Here’s your coffee, sir,” Taehyung said, his voice bright and warm. Jungkook opened his eyes, surprised and grateful. “Thank you, Mr. Kim,” he replied, his voice softening. “It’s my job to serve you, sir,” Taehyung said playfully, his eyes sparkling. With a gentle smile, Taehyung returned to his desk, sipping his coffee while diving back into the files. Jungkook couldn’t help but admire him, feeling a rush of affection. 'If only you knew how much you mean to me,' he thought, taking a sip of his espresso, the rich flavour mirroring the depth of his feelings for Taehyung. ....................... --- That’s a wrap for today’s chapter!
