Where Eagles DareA lot has been made of being daring. We hear comments such as “He who dares wins” or that “Daring wins the day,” but that’s only part of the story. There is also commentary on “living to fight another day” or Shakespeare’s “The better part of valor is discretion.” So, what is it? Daring or judgment?
You have to dare to win, but a dead victor won’t enjoy the spoils. Daredevils are notoriously quickly spent, like lit magnesium. Spectacular, but then reduced to memory. Like the Misfits song, never lasting long but leaving an impression by being daring. Whadda ya know? The Misfits is what we’ve got up next.
