Rowan by Grace Vilmont Chapter One “She’s gorgeous!” Dana exclaimed when the slave walked into the room. “She should be,” Brent half-grumbled. “I paid a fortune for her.” Dana sniffed. “We can afford it.” They both gazed at the lovely slave who stood in the middle of the living room of their expansive apartments that looked out at the nightscape of the city. The view, even from the seventy-fifth floor of the building, wasn’t nearly as beautiful as the slave. She was tall, not freakishly so, but just enough to be striking and stand out among other women. Long, wavy red hair cascaded down to her waist. It was worn loose, swept over her shoulders.
