Emily walked toward the bar counter and folded her arms, with the young man beside her, as the dim bar lights cast a shadow in Ethan's direction.
Just as she walked by, Ethan suddenly grabbed her.
"What's wrong with you?" Emily yelled at him as she tried pulling her hands off his, but his broad shoulder wouldn't let go.
Ethan dragged her over to a tight, dark spot, leaving her scared.
"What's wrong with you?" She asked again, but no response.
She flew her hands off him, as she felt pain down her body.
Ethan glanced at her with so much remorse, his eyes trying to find some answers.
"I need your help on something" Ethan finally spoke, leaving Emily off guard.
"What's that? Who the hell are you?" She asked again, this time trying to raise her voice, but got pulled sideways.
“Don't you dare!”
Emily felt her body shiver in fear as she stood calm.
"You can't remember me? Besides, I need to make a deal with you," he said, scanning around.
"What's that?" She asked, folding her hands together. While her legs tapped on the ground.
"A contract marriage," he said, as his eyes pierced directly into hers, without uttering any words further.
"Contract what? You must be joking—coming here to utter rubbish," Emily yelled, as she knew he couldn't be a good man.
"Yes, A contract marriage, no emotions attached," he said with a smile while Emily stared at him.
"I can't...and I wouldn't," Emily said as she dusted her hands and walked out.
Ethan stared at the only opportunity he could get, his eyes still fixed on her leaving.
After standing for a few seconds, he walked over to the bar counter.
"Please, another drink," he said, as he kept on drinking with speed. Leaving his body moved well with it, as he kept on staring at the crowd.
Ethan walked with her back getting aching from the rude customers.
She stretched her legs forward as she walked down her street; the coldness and quietness pierced into her skin. Emily squeezed her body firmly, with her hands tightly on each other.
After a few minutes of walking, Emily walked down to her two-bathroom apartment, and she took a deep breath before knocking.
Her hands slipped inside as the door window opened. Making her body shiver in shock.
"Mom...mom...I'm back" she screamed happily, even with the tiredness inside of her.
"Mom...mom..." She kept on screaming, but no response.
Emily walked faster with her bag slightly to the sofa, making a cracking sound. As she moved her body over to her mom's room.
Pulling the door open, she spied inside. The dark room couldn't let her view it further, as she turned on her flashlight.
It's been some months now without light; she couldn't afford to pay for the light bills.
"Mom..." Emily's body froze at the spot, as she saw her lifeless mom's body on the floor.
Her hands sideways, with her phone in her left hand, Emily ran faster while she held her mom firmly.
"Mom... please don't do this to me..." Tears dripped down her cheeks, making it hard for her to see clearly.
Her hands shook as she dialed the ambulance number.
A few minutes had passed, and Emily kept staring at her mom as she held her head.
"Mom...mom..." She screamed, watching her mom lie on the emergency bed.
Emily rushed inside the ambulance with the nurses inside, as they tried waking her up.
She folded her hands tightly while whispering some prayers, trying to hold herself firmly from shedding tears.
Just as Emily lifted her head, she scanned the whole area as she realized she was at the hospital.
Emily walked out of the ambulance while her mom was rushed into the hospital.
A lot was going on inside her head, her eyes getting pale and weak as she followed the nurses.
"Mom, be safe, please," she said, with her cracked voice as she kept on holding onto the bed her mom lay on.
"Ma'am, you can't be here; please excuse us," one of the nurses said, as she barred her from entering the room.
Emily felt her heart squeeze in pain as she sat down with her hands over her head, trying to gasp for air.
The more she thought of her mom, the more her breath seized entirely. Letting her cough out in pain while she kept on whispering to herself.
Trying to be strong, but someone present pulled her off her thoughts.
Emily lifted her head, noticing it was the doctor in front of her; she stood up with her hands begging.
"Doctor... please how is she?" She asked, not wanting to hear any bad news.
"She is stable now, but we need to perform some surgery immediately," he said as he stared directly into her poor eyes.
"What's surgery? Is she alright doctor?" Emily couldn't hold her tears any longer, as they made their way down her cheeks.
Her eyes blurred with tears, as she stared at the doctor.
"She has heart failure and has lost a lot of blood; we need to do this surgery immediately," he said.
"Please, doctor, do it," she said, not caring if it was rude.
"You will have to deposit some payments before we can proceed. You have 24 hours, or else it might be too late," he said as he left her.
It felt like the world swamped against her as Emily sat down. Her body shivered as she whispered to herself while she kept on thinking.
Luckily for her, she remembered the young man she met.
Emily pulled out her phone and dialed the number she got from his business card, but there was no response.
She remembered the location of his company, as Emily rushed out of the hospital.
She moved inside the bus while she kept tapping her hands on the seat.
Trying to calm her nerves down, but just a few minutes had passed.
Emily ran inside Ethan Enterprise, as her eyes merged with a lady smiling.
"Good day Ma," the secretary said, as she curved a smile.
"Good day, I'm looking for Mr. Ethan Thomas," she said, but immediately the lady stared at her weirdly before making some calls.
"What's your name?" She asked, still on the call.
"Miss Emily", she said, as the lady nodded before placing the words to the person on the phone.
The lady hung up the call as she showered Emily with directions.
Emily walked faster while pressing the elevator button, giving her heart a shiver.
Emily took a deep breath as she stood in front of Ethan's office. Placing her hands to knock but got pulled out by his deep voice.
"Come in," he said without knowing who it was.
Emily felt scared but didn't care much; what mattered was her mom's health.
She moved inside but paused for a second while she watched the drama unfold in front of her.
Ethan's hands wrapped around the two ladies beside him while the third lady held his d**k, shivering it down her throat as he moaned smoothly.
The ladies jerked off, after noticing Emily. Picking up their clothes and wearing them faster.
"You came?" He smirked, with his eyes perched on her.
"This is urgent," she said as she moved closer to him while the ladies rolled their eyes at her and put on their clothes.
Get out!!!
Ethan yelled at them, as they took to their heels as their body moved majestically.
"Sign", Ethan ordered as Emily sat down.
"Where?" Emily asked as he dropped the papers at her side, while she read some pages before signing them.
"I desperately need some money now," she pleaded, not caring what he might say.
"Okay, you will have to drop your details to my secretary'" he said as she smiled while she stood up to leave.
But got pinned to the wall, as her eyes turned reddish.
"You're now mine”. His hot breath clenched against her, as tears dripped from her cheeks.
