Chapter Seventy-four
Austin was called a couple of hours later by one of his men, who explained that Diane and Shane couldn't be found.
"Check every nook and cranny of Brighton and bring my sister and nephew to me! Don't come back here without them," He snarled and hung up abruptly.
His phone beeped almost immediately and as soon as he saw the caller ID, he became unsettled, lines of creases formed on his forehead and his insides churned.
"Hey, what's up?" He said, trying to conceal his nervousness. It was Jason, his brother. Jason only called him when it was necessary. It couldn't be that he knows that Diane is in Brighton, could it? She couldn't have been found by his men, could she?
