Chapter Seven
The days rolled by quickly and Pamela didn't hear anything again from Mr Garrison. The last two days had been mentally draining for Pamela, especially because of the pressure from the company. She'd often hear whispers from employees and the board of directors about her in her absence. No one however dared to say anything to her face. Their demeanour whenever she's spotted is enough evidence to show that they usually gossiped about her. She'd also gotten tensed when her father had asked her about it over dinner the previous night. Pamela however didn't tell him that he'd terminated it. She lied that it was going well and that she would in fact meet with him the next day.
