Chapter Eleven
The meeting went better than Pamela expected, and the moment she left the meeting room, it felt as though she could now breathe. She felt more relaxed in a natural way. She found her way back to the hospital. The meeting was the most significant one today, she could dispense with the other things on her schedule. It wasn't as though they are not also important, but they were all things she could attend to later. She only hoped that her father was well. All through the meeting, her heart was pounding hard in her chest, if she wasn't good at masking her emotions, they would have found out that she was tense.
