Chapter thirty-one
Christabel noticed that Shane was doing really bad for a friend today, she had no clue whatsoever as to what was wrong with him, but she couldn't help but notice his aloofness to everyone, and even her, his new friend. At least, that was what she thought in her head. Friends were persons who shared things; food, information, experiences and the list goes on. In their case, it was information. During their first class, she had tried to talk to him in whispers but he had only glanced at her once and averted his gaze almost immediately as though he hadn't heard her.
She would have passed notes to him instead, but wouldn't even dare to do that because of what happened the last time she tried it. She ended up being bullied by Lana and her clique who got a hold of the paper
