Chapter twenty-six
Austin got an unusual call and was surprised the moment that he knew who it was. He'd not heard from Marvel Hanks in such a long time, maybe the last time he heard from him was when they were still in school.
"It's been ages, Marvel! What happened? You vanished into thin air without a trace." Marvel chuckled over the phone. Both Marvel and Austin had been very good friends since way back. They were the best of friends, they were the closest in Austin's clique. They would often cause trouble and face the consequences together.
"Here and there," Marvel answered with a gleeful smile on his lips.
"How have you been yourself, Austin? And I see that you pursued your dream." He added.
