"Would you like to take this relationship a step further by marrying me, my lady?"
Pamela felt it in her guts that this question was what Austin was about to ask. Scratch that, she knew damn well that all his talks were ending with the big question. However, her eyes even widened all the more as the question escaped from his lips. Now, Austin had to be kidding her. Marriage? Did he think that getting married was as easy as falling off a log? Or maybe he thought that marriage was like saying shooting fish in a barrel.
