  NICHOLAS'S POV   "Almost there," he murmured, half-carrying me now as my strength faded. "Just a little further."   That's when they found us.   Three men in tactical gear, moving with military precision. They came around the corner fast and low, weapons already raised.   Carlos shoved me behind a desk and opened fire.
