Sonnet 2

287 Words
Of all the beauties that we tend to see, There's none that can compare to thee, my love. Thou art the fairest gem that shines to me, And all my days are made blissful by thy presence. Thine eyes, like stars, doth light the darkest night, And am filled with wonder when thou art near; Thybeauty doth surpass the fairest flower, And in thy embrace, all else doth fade away. Thy voice doth soothe my soul like gentle rain, And I am lost within thy sweet embrace. Thou art the fairest creature ever seen, And in thy love, my heart doth find its rest. With thee, dear one, my life doth feel complete, And I am grateful for each moment blessed. Oh, how love thee, more than words can say, For thou art the sun that brightens up my day. Thy grace and charm doth light up every room, And all who know thee speak of thee with awe. Courageous heart andmighty spirit too, In troubled times, thou art my trusted shore. Thou art a diamond, ever bright and pure, And in thy presence, darkness cannot dwell. My heart doth beat with love that doth endure, For in thy love, I find my sacred well. Thy grace and charm, like what an angel has, Make hearts to yearn, and tears to trickle by. Thou should'st be praised in every verse of mine, For in my heart, thou art the reason why. In gentle whispers, doth thy voice convey The sweetest sounds that nature can bestow. Thou art the rose in spring that doth allay The pain that winter's sorrows have foreknown. Thus every time think about thy grace, My heart doth sing a sonnet of thy face.
