Maxwell POV:
Dinner was peaceful in a serene environment but not so quiet. Laura and her uncle discussed fun moments, trying to catch up with lost times. The Luna was not bad herself, beautiful with average height and dark brown eyes.
After a long ride, home cooked meal was necessary. I had rushed my meal or maybe it was their conversation that didn't seem to end and leaving the table would not be such a good idea.
I remained seated, waiting until they exhaust their topics and chipping into the conversation at intervals.
The Luna wrapped everything up by ordering a maiden to clear the table, I was expecting that with her constant nodding.
"Please excuse us for a moment, I'll meet you in the room." Laura whispered into my ear and pecked my cheek.
