Laura's POV: I looked around me and all I could see was water breathe I couldn't breathe. I tried to swim as the rays of a bright light which sunk deep into the ocean gave me hope. There was an invisible obstacle beneath my feet that kept dragging me down each time I tried to swim. Abruptly, I felt a taste in my mouth, like metal, thick and velvety. Afterward, I realized I could breathe in the water with ease, no gasping or choking. The obstacle, whatever it was, disappeared, and I swam easily to the surface.
