The next day Amanda told Anaya to get ready they will be going out. Anaya wore a purple wrap dress with nude hill and a nude clutch. Then she went out and saw Amanda was waiting for her in the car. She entered the car.

"You are looking good dear." told Amanda

"Thanks ma" replied Anaya politely.

Driver started the car. Anaya looked outside the window. The day was sunny but her mind was clouded by the thought of Andrew. She didn't know which face of his was true. Amanda broke the silence.

"We are going to a club right now. There will be many high class lady there. They loved to gossip about others. I'm taking you there to help you build your walls. A strong woman should be able to ignore what others think of you and this is the first step of your journey. There womens will be say a lot of thing about you which is not true and I want to see how you feel about that."

"Ok Ma"

"Just remember that never let anyone control your emotions by their thoughts"

Anaya nodded. They reached there in thirty minutes. It was a high end club of elite people. They entered and the manager came running to welcome Amanda.

"Welcome Mrs Black. You came after a long time. Please follow me."

Then the manager took them inside. There were a few rich women playing cards and talking in a table. Amanda dismissed the manager by her hand and walked towards those lady along with Anaya .

"Hey look over there is that Mrs Black?" one lady in a pink dress said in her high pitched voice.

"Hi. How are you all?" said Amanda while taking a empty chair beside them. Anaya was standing behind her.

"Oh my my Amanda. Long time no see. I thought you were going to settle in country Y." said a lady in brown suit.

"At last I'm back. Then tell me how's everything going with you." Amanda said.

"Everything is going as always. But you are again in the front page with your son amd daughter in law." said another woman. Then she looked at Anaya behind Amanda and asked curiously, "By the way who is this beautiful young lady behind you?Is she your new secretary? "

"She's my god daughter Ana." replied Amanda.

"Why are you standing dear take a seat. We are all like a family here."

Anaya sat between amanda and the lady in brown stuit.

"I'm Mrs Smith. Nice to meet you." said the person beside her.

"Nice to meet you too." replied Anaya with a smile.

"We thought you'd bring your daughter in law with you. We have heard many rumors about her." said Mrs Smith.

"Yeah is it true that your daughter in law is the Heiress of the Thompsons?" asked the pink lady who is Mrs Parker as Anaya heard.

"I have also heard that she eloped with a criminal and stayed the night with him. The were about to get married when you took her back?" asked another lady. Anaya was dumbfounded by her question. What are they talking about? But Amanda was calm. She gave a broad smile and said elegantly," Rumors are rumors. But I heard something about your son Mrs brown? "

Mrs brown's face became darker." What are you talking about my son is clean. I am searching a bride for her. Is your god daughter single? " she said while looking at Anaya.

" Yes yes her son in clean with a illegitimate son. Hahaha"Said Mrs Smith.

"Don't you think that you should watch your own children Mrs Smith? Your daughter had an abortion last month." replied Mrs brown.

The ladies started arguing with each other about their children and husband. Anaya was looking at them with astonishment. They were not even ready to listen each other.

Amanda cleared her throat and said," Sorry ladies we have to go for shopping. See you soon. Let's go Ana."

Anaya stood up said goodbye to the ladies and exited with Amanda.

In the car Amanda asked Anaya, "What have you learned from them?"

"Those who said something about you has something to hide behind that's why they say harsh things. We should find a way to make them stop." Anaya said happily.

"Good girl. You're learning quickly."

"Where are we going now?"

"We are going to select your wedding dress."

Anaya lost in the thought of wedding. They reached their destination in a few minutes. The car stopped in front of a boutique. The representative took them inside in a private area. A middle aged woman wearing a business suit came forward and wished them.

"Good morning Mrs Black, good morning Miss Thompson"

Amanda nodded then hugged the lady.

"Good morning to you too Nina. Amanda this is the manager of this boutique. She's working with us for 20 years. She's like a family."

"Good morning Nina" Anaya wished her warmly.

"She's such a sweet girl. Let's go as Mrs Black ordered we brought 3 custom made wedding gown. Come have a look." said Nina and took them in a restricted area only for VIP's. Anaya saw three most beautiful wedding gown she had ever seen. And one of them was stunning. She went near the middle one. It was a off shoulder full sleeve white gown. It has diamond work on its neck line and waist line. The fabric of the gown was made of net which has floral design. It was so beautiful that Anaya was afraid to touch it.

"You like it?" asked Amanda.

Anaya nodded cheerfully.

"Ok then go try it on"

One of the attendants took anay in a bridal trial room and help her to put on the dress.

"You are looking gorgeous madam", said the attendants.

"Thanks" replied Anaya. Then she went out of the trial room to show the dress to Amanda.

"Ma look this dress is so beautiful" said she while looking down walking carefully afraid of spoiling the dress.

"It's looking more beautiful because you're wearing it"

Hearing the voice Anaya looked up. In front of her was Andrew standing in his domineering aura wearing a full white suit and a red neck bow.

"What are you doing here. Where is Ma and Nina." asked Anaya to Andrew. Andrew laughed sheepishly.

"It's look like you have learned to talk without stuttering. Anyway mom went to Nina's office they have some accounts to check. Will be back in a while." he replied to her.

"Look at my both children Nina they looking so lovely just like a prince and princess" said Amanda with tears in her eyes.

"If this trial is being done then I have to go mom. I have an important meeting." Andrew said to his mom. Then went inside the trial room.

"It's look like the dress fits you perfectly it doesn't need any kind of alterations. You can change now. I will send them to your house." said Nina to Anaya.

Anaya went inside and changed the dress. Then went out to Amanda. The three of them went out together. Amanda told Anaya to go with Andrew and she went in her car. Their car along with Amanda's stopped in front of the Black corporation. Anaya was surprised why they were not home but at the company. Andrew took the two ladies to the top most floor of the building. They went inside a office with the board written CEO. It was Andrew's office may be he has something important to discuss with Amanda, Anaya thought to herself.

"Anaya you will be working as Andrew's personal assistant from now on as your internship. You will be learning how to manage business so that when you get hold of your business you can handle it properly." Amanda said to her while sitting on the couch.

"But what about my studies?" asked Anaya.

"you will be working here after your class time just like a part time job." Andrew cleared everything. Anaya nodded understanding the situation.

"Come let me show you your office." Andrew took Anaya an adjoining room with his.
