Jessica pov

We walked back in the house to see my brother and Gamma Lily sitting together and flirting? I was about to say something when Jake said something.

“Hey is what happened I mean I know what happened but are you okay?” I almost laughed it sounded as if he was confused on how to feel, I gave him a smile and told him I was fine Lily gave Serina a hug and I had to bite back a growl but I guess Serina picked up on it and her head snapped over to me and she gave me a reassuring smile.

‘Be calm my love, she is straight and I smell your brother all over her.’ I then turned to my brother seeing him almost glaring at Serina. Turns out I’m not the only jealous mate… wait what?

“Jake explain now!” He dared give me a shy smile when I said that, It made me more mad and I didn’t even know why.

“I know you already know but if you insist…” He smirked and walked over to a now confused Lily.

Boom he had thrown his lips on her so fast you couldn’t tell if you were human. It was supposed to be a quick show for me instead they started making out infront of my parents! I literally had to stop the vomit from coming out of my mouth. Good thing dad handled it.

“Stop that right now before I make you do all the blood samples from children for a month.” That threat got to him fast, Jake hates crying children it makes him literally cry thinking he hurt the child. He apologized to his mate and took a step away from her. I guess not trusting himself. While I was watching I didn’t even notice my own mate sneaking up on me and sneakily putting one of her hands on my ass. I guess knowing how to not be caught tho the table being in front of us and a wall behind us and on the opposite side of everyone helped. I wanted to say something but when she started massaging my ass with one hand while pretending to be innocent I knew she beat me.

‘What are you doing?’ I asked her to keep a straight face though it wasn't easy.

‘The best I can do to keep my wolf and I at bay though maybe don’t smell that way before others catch on.’ I barely kept another blush at bay knowing what she meant.

“Well seeing as they are newly meet mates I vote on staying here and letting them have the guest house alone? If that’s okay with mr. and mrs. Stephenson. I would love to be your esteemed guest.” She said bowing at my parents my brother had a huge smirk on his face. He knew if Serina asked for it so shall it be and that he got a night fully alone with his mate ment he didn’t have to worry about being caught.

“That would be amazing but we have no guest room.” My mother said with a frown, We planned on making one for the house but money got tight last year and we never did. I frowned at the memory seeing as it was my fault.

“Not a problem unless Luckas wants to go somewhere else I can room with Jessica for the night and he can have Jake’s room.” I could see that Luckas unfazed to the sudden change of sleeping arrangements and he just shrugged.

“You sure you want to share a room with my daughter?” My mom asked, feeling bad for her not knowing that I am her mate and she definitely has no problem with it.

“I need to learn all about her anyways seeing as she is the Quaesitum wolf.” I felt the double meaning a mile away however no one else but Lizzy knew who was sending me silent smirks that no one else saw.

Everyone soon said good night and I started to freak out. Rooms are soundproof with the door closed and this is the first night since turning sixteen that my room would be sound proof again, dad was worried bout boys and told me after I was ready for bed that my room door had to stay open but in respect for my mate he told me privately I should close it.

“I’m taking a shower.” I said after she got her clothes from the cars she brought. I didn’t want to think just yet about sleeping in a soundproof room with her.

I got my speaker and my phone wolves rarely use phones after turning sixteen and meeting their wolf seeing as then they can communicate via mind links but I used mine for music.

I wanted to see her reaction so I stared up my ‘gay anthem’ playlist cheesy I know and after stripping off my clothes when the water was ready slumber party started playing. I know it was a cheap shot and I was begging for Serina to do something but I didn’t expect her not even a second after it started to be with me in the shower.

“So you want me to be in a soundproof room with a shower going hu? I forgot that you had a bold streak.” She said smirking and I got embarrassed especially since the next line of the song rang out.

‘Gave your girlfriend cunalingus on my couch’

Serina smirked at me leaning over me not that that was hard to do since she was 6’ and I was a mear 5’ft 5’in.

I got a look at her chest and immediately looked away. My wolf was mad with me but I wasn’t ready for that and she knew it. Besides teasing me Serina washed my back and I did her back. I was grateful she had enough strength over her wolf.

After the shower we got dressed. I knew Serina was staring at me when I got changed but she only saw my back.

“I know you aren’t ready yet so don’t worry nothing will happen tonight mate.” I smiled at that, her knowing and respecting me was the greatest gift she could have given me at the moment.

We layed in my bed and cuddled, the air mattress my mother gave me to lay on so Serina could have my bed unused that night. I was very grateful that I had gotten her as my mate and I prayed that night she could wait till I was ready, that’s all I wanted from her, a little patient.

The next morning

Serina Pov

Me and my mate spent the night in the same room and after a tease of a shower we just cuddled and talked till we were both asleep. My wolf wanted to mark her and I knew I couldn’t keep her at bay for long but she agreed to be patient for as long as she could hold out I knew that meant I had at most two weeks before she can’t help herself and that made me worried I chose to not tell Jessica just yet, We have a lot on our plates starting today. I will officially meet this pack’s Apha for the peace treaty but also to talk about the observation plans today but apparently Luckas talked to him last night and over breakfast he told me some basics he got to learn about the alpha.The breakfast Jessica and her father are making seeing as he had an off day and her mother let me have Jessica (who is disappointed she couldn’t help her mother though). Luckas offered to stay and help her seeing as he didn’t need to re-meet the Alpha here. They talked when we got here and when we were on the way to Jessica’s house and I was with her. I could tell though that he wanted alone time with Jessica’s mom I’m guessing to learn about the Quaesitum wolf. I told him I appreciated it.

He gave me a weird look till I realised he offered not only to learn about Jessica but because he missed farm life. When he was younger he helped his uncle on the pack farm. When he had to start training for the beta position his farm days stopped.

I truly need to do something about that for him after the war. I want him happy and his pregnant mate Lilith is doing us a huge favor looking over our pack alongside my cousin and Lily's younger brother.

My cousin owes me and Ant. just wanted some practice seeing as he wanted to be more responsible soon.
