Wanna Be Yours

Draven Within this hole the air is so still not even a breeze blows by. Anguishing, this whole endeavor is anguishing. The smell of suffocating death looms all over the grounds. What time even was it now? How long had this tedious task drawn from my ticking time? Hours by the looks of the sun in the sky. Not even the trees shade me from its blinding rays. The last two I dug up came up fruitless. Nothing left within the casket besides bones and rags that were once the clothes of the demise. There wasn’t so much of an inkling of a clue to point me in any direction. Sweat beads across my brow. Lazily, I wipe it, dragging dirt and muck across my face. Then, as if a blessing from the skies, a shadow cast down upon me within this hole. The shade is but a moment of grace before a body crashes into mine. My body slams into the dirt, the solves falling somewhere else entirely. My fingers dig into the loose dirt, in a clash of limbs and hair my knees take the brunt of the force to keep from landing upon whatever fool ran into a grave. With a hold on the person's upper arm and my other hand steadying us. Already my teeth are bearing the snarl building within the back of my throat. “Insolent foo-” A sensual prickling tickles the back of my neck, the air ever so slightly swaying the leaves to gather upon the grave. The prickling sensation moves down my neck into my chest spreading like wildfire upon my body. I was burning from the inside, my beast within stirring to the presence of a being beyond comprehension. The first breath takes all the anger from within, dousing the burning in a cool solution. The burning anger within transforms into a burning of another, something feverish. The taste on my tongue is none other than mouth watering. Gone is the dead smell of flowers, replacing the putrid taste is the dominating scent makes me delirious. Her sweet, rich scent burrows itself into my brain bringing the wolf within to the surface. My hand grips the woman by her upper arm, dragging her body close to mine. I need to see, have to see the being that is exploding the chains of my own sanity. Wide eyes reflect into my soul, they are the color of liquid gold, bathing in them would be but a blessing. Her pale skin glows against mine, shining off of it in an angelic way. Raising my hand to her face, I drag my thumb over her bottom lip. So silky and supple. Those dark pink lips suck in a breath, her eyes fully taking in my blazing silver orbs. Her own hand reaches up hesitantly, like I am but a ghost before this heavenly being. Fingers dust across the material of my s**t and it may as well have been my own skin. This Angel’s touch ripples a low growl from within my soul, heat blazing where her fingers dance across me. She still’s but for a moment from the sound before laying her palm fully against my chest. Thunderous beats pound through my own ears rippling through the base of her palm. My chest is rising and falling from the action. “Are you real?” She breathes The moment those perfect lips from those words, a single word explodes from deep within. Mine. She is mine, mine, mine, mine. Everything from the white hair at the top of her head to the boots on her toes are mine. The wolf within howls his pleasure. I still hadn’t spoken a word to her question. Instead, my own lips form the same words she’d spoken to me. “Are you real?” Those lips tremble out, “I believe so.” Fully taking in the person before me, the beast within searches from the beast within her. The wolf stirs under the surface, desperately calling to the other being within her. Only the soft lul of a lullaby whispers back. How unusual. This wasn’t how it's meant to be. Easily, I stand, lifting the being before me to her own feet. Her eyes don’t leave mine, possibly searching for something that she expects to linger beneath the surface. Gently, my fingers slide loose strands from her braid behind her ear. “You took a nasty fall there, how do you feel?” As if a spell had lifted, she steps back shaking her head. “Fine. I should be asking you if you’re okay.” “Something like you couldn’t injure me that way.” My hand traces over the outline of her jaw, she shivers beneath my touch. It then travels down to the loose knit sweater that now has patches or dirt all over. “Your clothes are heavily littered with dust now.” My hands make haste by removing the excess filth from her clothes. It was like I couldn't help but hold on to her. Those eyes look up to meet mine once more. This time it is her who reaches up to smooth my own shirt down. “It looks like you too are severely covered in earth.” “Well I have been digging all morning.” I smile down at her. She looks back to where the marker on the grave is. The name reads clear as day. “Digging in an already marked grave?” She asks with a hint of playfulness in her tone. “I thought grave robbers wait until nightfall to descend upon their prey.” I quirk a brow and lower my hands until they hover dangerously close to her hips. “Well it’s not grave robbing if I own the property.” The side of her lips upturn. “You own the cemetery?” “I do indeed own it and the west side of town, Draven Mors.” I hold my hand out to beauty before me. Her mouth parts slightly before masking over into a smile, her warm skin meets mine in the delicate of ways, the feeling causing the wolf to prickle at the back of my neck. “Angel.” My thumb rubs circles on the back of her hand. “Do I get a last name, Angel?” “Maybe, I normally don’t give out my legal name to people who I meet in a graveyard.” Her nose scrunches in a delightful way. “Well then,” I bring her hand up to my lips to kiss the back, my ears detect the slights of hitches in her voice and heartbeat. A sound I’d love to hear repeated. “Let’s say dinner tonight at one of my restaurants.” She giggles heavenly. “And what if I have plans tonight?” “Then breakfast tomorrow.” I Pull her closer to me. “Please.” The hint of a blush caresses her cheekbones. Those lips part to speak and are cut off by the unfamiliar jingle of a ringtone. Angel fully pulls away from me to grasp the dreadful thing. “Sorry Jess, I lost track of the time.” There is commotion on the other end before she replies, “I’ll be there soon.” Angel looks down upon herself and her nose scrunches. “I may look a little rough.” Another pause. “No, I took a bit of a fall, nothing too serious, just dirt and some mud.” My eyes trail down her curvy body taking in all the muck coating her lovely form. With hate my own phone is out, a quick message sent to Aurora. Specifying the haste. By the time I was done the being before me was already off her phone. “Meeting someone?” The question is simple, yet something already scratches under my skin, the wolf clawing to see if she already has a mate. A thing that could be dealt with quickly. “Yes, my cousin and his finance are already at the restaurant waiting for me.” She answer’s so easily leaving no room for doubt. Not a lie to be smelt between us. “Well then, let’s get you out of this hole.” My hands find her hips easily, fingers itching to grip the skin beneath her clothes. Angel’s breath hitches, her hands coming to my shoulders. Once she is on stable ground I remove my hands. The wolf inside howling to have them upon her once again. Even while lifting myself onto solid ground my body can’t help but be aware of her. Smiling down, “I’ll escort you to your destination.” A playful smile comes over those perfect lips. “How chivalrous of you.” Extending my arm she takes it easily within her hands. The contact creating a euphoric chemical flow through me. To make the deal sweeter the wind blows causing her intoxicating scent to fill my lungs with desire.
