Back at the house….
Connor paced the living-room floor still pissed at the fight but was confused as well because the fight went to 0 to 60 in a matter of minutes. He had fights with her before but they worked them out easily enough after a few words and shared a drink or two. Her attitude never really bugged him, it was one of her quirks that he didn’t mind and he didn’t want to lose her. He knew she had her reasons for having her walls up and after all the s**t she had been through it was understandable.
He went to grab a beer out of the fridge and the phone rang, Connor walked over and grabbed it off the counter and answered it.
