How long had it been since I had fallen asleep in a man's arms?
Years. That's how long.
I didn't exactly have the time for serious dating when I moved back home, and my dad would have thrown a fit if I had brought a man back to the house. At first, I had missed it, but then slowly but surely, I had forgotten how it felt.
Waking up with Tommy's arms around me brought it all back in a rush.
He was a warm comforting presence at my back. His heavy arm was slung over my hip. Somehow when we had been asleep, the hand on my stomach had slipped under the fabric of the shirt I was wearing to rest against my naked skin.
It both thrilled and terrified me how much I enjoyed having him so close.
