LEVIATHAN THE SEA MONSTER

CLASS PROJECT: LEVIATHAN

"DingDong DingDong" the bell rings.

"Ugh, it's morning already? Turn it off! Someone turn off that damn alarm clock."

I couldn't take it anymore so I smash it I smash my alarm clock so hard it broke, now I have to clean up this mess all by myself. I get the broom, and start sweeping the broken pieces of my alarm clock. "That's one way to start the morning" I mutter.

Oh my God I just remembered I'm meeting Alexander and the guys today. Oh my God,oh my God, Oh my God. I'm so... Excited I've never been so happy about anything in all my life. I drop my broom and forgot all about the broken alarm clock. I went straight to my masters bathroom to take a hot bubble bath with my rosey body wash. I even exfoliated and double cleansed cause of Alexander. It's not so... Easy to do skincare everyday. That's why I only do it during special occasions. After I had my bathe I ran out of the bathroom forgetting to clean my legs. I almost slipped and fell, but I didn't. I'm not usually like this when I plan to meet up with my friends. But for Alexander my dress, make up and scent have to be delightful. I mean I can't go down there to see Alexander smelling like fish. I mean come on... He's the hottest guy in Creeper's High and I can't afford to smell like fish when he comes over to my house. He'll lose interest before he even gets to know me. So I'm going to make sure I look extra extra beautiful.

I open my big disorganized wardrobe. But wait my phone's ringing.

"Who could be calling" I thought.

Oh it's Queen she's probably calling to check in or something. I answer the call and

"hello it's Lora queen of England" I said. "It's Queen your best friend?

Lora where are you the whole group is downstairs waiting for you and we've been waiting here for hours Alexander's here too and he seems to be getting bored and maybe a little tired. Where are you?".

"I'm still getting ready" I replied.

She hangs up. I can feel myself getting nervous already and I haven't even met Alexander yet. I'm such an i***t. But... I'll just put on my crop top, my new baby jeans, head warmer a little bit of make-up and brush my hair. And... We are ready to go... I get up, get my notebook, my pen, eraser, phone, laptop, tablet and all that school stationery s**t. I'm running downstairs screaming Queen's name; she stares at me with so much rage in her eyes I could feel she's pissed with me. So, I avoid making eye contact and I also tried to pretend like I didn't notice that. There he is. Alexander my dream husband. Oh yes, my dream is finally coming true I'm going to be Alexander's wife really soon. I can feel it in my gut.

"Hi Lora" Alexander said .

"hey" I replied.

with a husky, nervous, shaky voice. "I wish I could take that back."

"You have a very beautiful house" he complemented. And I thanked him.

"So let's get started".I said.

We sat down on my big sofa in the living room. Queen sat on the left sofa while I sat on the right sofa next to Alexander.

"I just can't stop stirring".

Alexander looks at me and turns his head away slowly and faces down looking at his palms. Queen draws our attention and immediately spoke about the project.

"I've been up all night researching this "Creature/sea monster/king of the seven seas, Leviathan.

And to me his clearly a myth. I mean how can an aquatic animal be so powerful it's not possible. I mean his overrated by all these sites. So, I decided that we should probably take this class project to the museum. I'm sure there'd be something about Leviathan there since he's all "powerful". Alexander nods his head and I nod mine too. "Okay... I guess it's a "date she says playfully. We were about to step out of the house, then my mom yells out my name.

"LORA HATH THE WAY.. Where do you think you're going? It's your turn to walk the dog remember?".

"s**t the dog" I murmur. "What was that?" "Nothing mom..." I yell.

I walk over to the kitchen where the dog Is tied;on an Iron pole beside the fridge. Leper. our German shepherd hybrid dog, COULD NOT control himself or his saliva. He ran towards me faster than lightning. He leaped into the air and he smashed right on my crop top. Thank God nothing happened until Leper starts leaking all over my face. He licked away all the perfectly made make-up it didn't take me so much time to do it, but my efforts shouldn't be wasted all because some dog couldn't control his saliva. I got so pissed I went down the basement. I searched the basement for one of Leper's old dog cones. I wanted to teach him a lesson since he tried to ruin my date with Alexander. I finally found the dog cone inside one of mom's old shoe boxes. I brought it out and went rushing back upstairs just so I could fix the cone on Leper. It took a while but I did it; I got the cone on Leper.

"Lora !Why do you always have to be so mean to the poor dog what did he ever do to you huh? A little slobber hurt nobody specially not you." Queen yells.

I couldn't help but notice that Alexander was giving me a very disgusting look. He looked like he was really disgusted by my actions and wanted to just probably slap me right across the face for putting a poor dog in a cone. I felt so embarrassed I didn't say anything after queen scolded me. I apologized and reminded the group about our trip to the museum. Queen and Alexander were stunned at how they almost forgot that we were still going to the museum for the class Project.

"That's it! We are going to the museum now! And I mean now! No more delays, no more stalling. We have to leave right now. All of us.

There's no time the museum closes by 5 and it's 3:00" Alexander said. Queen grabs her back pack, Alexander picks up his phone because he didn't really come too prepared and I grabbed all the things I felt I needed for the trip and all the things I needed for Alexander. Right before we were about to leave my house I remembered something or someone it was Dennis. He's not here and he didn't call to let me know he wasn't coming. I told queen about it and she said she forgot to tell me that Dennis said something came up and he wouldn't make it to the meeting at my place. We got out of the house and took a taxi to the museum. It was a short drive, about a mile away from where I live.

"The great hakii, the best museum in Hawaii" Alexander said and Queen agrees pulling down her glasses to glare at Alexander weirdly. I was starting to feel like Queen and Alexander were bonding far faster than i and him. I was starting to get sort of jealous. Alexander walked over to Queen bent to her height and said"I know I'm smarter than I look" queen giggled and blushed a bit. I stood and open my jaw so... Wide. I wasn't expecting Alexander to like Queen. I mean that's not possible. She's a nerd; jocks don't do nerds. My life is over. Or is it? I think I found some scribbles on the wall of the museum; beside leviathan ancient drawing but I can't seem to decipher what it is hmm. Could it be what I'm thinking?
