ANGEL’S P.O.V
I head downstairs after taking a shower feeling fresh. I find Maria setting the table, I smile greeting her, and she smiles back. Jay is not on the table which is kind of weird, we used to always have breakfast together, and if he was going to miss breakfast he’d always let me know. It’s funny how much we’ve grown apart. I need to get my life on tract, find a Job, I don’t think the hospital I used to work at will want anything to do with me after the way I left. I have a baby to think about, I can’t stay here forever, Jay and I are clearly over. Maria serves me orange juice and I smile. A door-bell rings and Maria gets it. She comes back with a smile, carrying a thousand roses with a box of chocolates and a nice small card. I look at her amused.
