CHAPTER 2

RJ
I was immediately ordered to go to the pack hospital. Adam was with me the whole time but haven't said a word. Apparently I cut too deep and it needed stitches. No doubt that my parents already know. Adam haven't said a word since our confrontation. We are sitting in the living room waiting for my parents.
"You could've called me", Adam said, finally breaking the silence.
"You're a pack warrior, Adam. You can't always be there because when it comes down to it, you'll pick your pack over me. You have to." I said calmly.
"BULLSHIT" he growled.
"Keep your end of the deal, Weis", he continued.
I promised Adam that if I ever feel the need to cut, I'll call him.
"ROMAN JONAH WEIS", my father's voice boomed.
Wow! Everyone likes saying my full name today!
"Alpha" Adam bowed.
"Dad" I said dryly.
"RJ honey" mom said.
"What?" I asked
Nobody talked. I can tell they are mind linking.
"I want to join Uncle Nate's pack", I said firmly before anyone can say anything.
"No", Dad said.
I huffed in annoyance, then walked towards the door.
"Where are you going? We are not yet done!" Dad exclaimed.
"I need a breather", I said, then rode my bike.
That lie was too easy. I drove to the next city, which also happens to be no man's land. I texted my supplier.
'Back on business! I NEED some H. -RJ'
'I'll be waiting-XX', I smirked.
I arrived at the abandoned warehouse we used to do the deals. I got the heroin, toilet paper tube, lighter and an aluminum foil and I gave him the cash. I placed the heroin in the aluminum foil and heated it through the lighter. I inhaled the vapor using the toilet paper tube. Oh, that feeling is blissful.
"RJ?" I looked up and saw Tyler and his friends.
"Hey", I said.
"What's that?" Marcus asked firmly.
"Nothing", I said giggling.
"Why are you here?" Tyler asked, panicked.
I don't really get what's the big deal.
"Why are you here?" I said chuckling again and emphasizing the 'you'.
"We have a party nearby. Now why are you here?" Marcus demanded.
"Just having fun" I chuckled.
I finished the rest of the heroin and walked to my motorcycle laughing. The world is beautiful. I hopped on my motorcycle.
"Oh no, you are not riding that by yourself." James said.
"Eh, then how will I get home?" I said chuckling.
"What kind of stuff does your brother do? Seriously, if he gets hurt, we'll be in trouble! Our scents are on him!" Max, a pack warrior's son, said.
Before anyone can answer, I sped off. The next thing I know five wolves were encircling me.
"f**k off you stupid wolves!" I yelled hoping the wolves will go away.
They just growled at me. They can understand me?
"I didn't know wolves can understand humans", I said.
"RJ!" A person called.
I looked up front and saw Adam in his motorcycle.
"Are you stupid?! Why are you driving while you're high? And didn't we quit!" Adam yelled.
"Why would you want to yell in this glorious world" I replied.
He sighed. "I'm driving" He said defeated.
He got off his motorcycle and parked it near the woods. He took my place and I let him drive. We sped off leaving the wolves. Whew! The good thing that it was only my imagination that they were following me.
MARCUS (Surprise!)
What the hell just happened here?
Who was that guy?
Why was RJ here?
My wolf was growling when RJ held to that guy in the motorcycle.
My wolf has always been protective of RJ. Why? I don't know.
Maybe because we're childhood friends?
Anyways, the guys have been worried about him. I mean yeah, we joke around with him, but he's still our childhood friend. I can tell Tyler is getting anxious. We all shifted and put on some basketball shorts
"Did you hear him? He said that he didn't know wolves can understand humans. What the hell was that about?" Max asked.
"Who was the one that picked him up?" I asked.
"Adam. He's a pack warrior of the Blue Moon pack", Tyler said.
"What was he smoking?" James said.
"We have to tell the alpha." Landon, another pack warrior's son, said.
"Damn. He's already in trouble for alcohol", I whispered lowly, hoping that they didn't hear.
Apparently, they did cause Tyler was in front of me immediately.
"What did you say?" He asked fiercely.
I raised my hands up in surrender.
"Hey man. I thought you knew, so I didn't bother telling you", I defended.
He growled and walked back.
"Do you... Do you think we are the reason?" Max asked.
"Come on. We were only having fun!" Landon hissed.
"Where's mom and dad?" Tyler asked.
"Blue Moon pack house talking with alpha Nate", I answered.
Then it all clicked. Everybody seems to get it since we all shifted heading to the Blue Moon pack house. Once there we shifted and found clothes behind a tree.
"MOM! DAD! WHERE ARE YOU?" Tyler shouted.
"Tyler? What are you doing here?" Luna asked.
"You guys knew?" Tyler asked in disbelief.
"Yes, we knew about the cutting. He promised he will stop", Luna said.
Cutting?
"What cutting luna?" I asked.
"Isn't that why you were here?" Luna asked.
"No, we are here because we saw him smoking something, and we found out about the bottles of alcohol." Max asked.
I filled them in about the bottles.
"Smoking? What is he smoking?" Alpha asked.
"Not a cigar that's for sure", Tyler said confidently.
"How would you know?" Alpha asked.
"I'm pretty sure cigars don't need foil and a tube to smoke." Tyler said confidently.
"NATE, WARREN COME DOWN HERE!" Alpha yelled angrily.
The two alphas came down immediately.
"Yes?" Alpha Nate asked.
"The kids said they saw RJ smoking something! Why is that?" Luna said, rubbing the alpha's arm to calm him down.
Alpha Nate gulped audibly.
"Um... Ah.. Mmhh... Warren?" He trailed off.
"What, why me?!" Alpha Warren shouted in disbelief.
"You're the brother. The less chance they'll kill you than me!" Alpha Nate reasoned.
"Nate? Warren? What are you hiding?" Luna asked.
The two alphas just looked at each other and gulped.
"Say it Nate!" Luna demanded.
"He was taking drugs! Heroin to be exact!" Alpha Nate said.
Drugs? What the hell!
"And you didn't tell us?! I let him walked out for Christ's sake!" Luna said.
"He stopped the same time Adam did. We thought for good", Alpha Warren said, standing in front of alpha Nate protectively.
"Oh god!" Luna said sobbing on the alpha's shoulder.
"Keep quiet. We'll get in trouble", A voice said barely above the whisper. Then a loud giggle.
"Adam?" Alpha Nate asked going to what I presume is the kitchen.
Everybody followed alpha Nate. RJ was hanging by the same guy that picked him up.
"Uh-oh busted!" RJ said jokingly.
The guy holding him sighed.
"Bring him up to the confinement room." Alpha Warren ordered.
The guy nodded.
"You have a lot of explaining to do" Alpha Nate said to the guy.
