Cracker’s POV “I love you!” I blinked, pulling back and looking up at him, but there wasn’t a single trace of regret, panic or anything that would suggest he had a momentary lapse in sanity… “Really?” I blurted out, because--- nope! Just drawing up a blank here! Blinking in confusion, I tried to make sense of it: “Is this one of those in the spur of the moment things? You can totally take it back if you want to! I’ll fully understand that---!” “Cracker!” he cut off my rant, a huge smile on his lips. “I love you.” I gulped. Fuck! Why did that made my heart do all kinds of stupid s**t! Never – and I sincerely mean NEVER! – have I ever told another person I love them. Perhaps I told my dad when I was little, but once mom left, I stopped expecting things like that from him.
