For the first time in my life, I wasn’t alone in my mind.
I lay on my bed staring up at the ceiling. My mind was racing, my heart was still pounding from everything that had happened earlier. I still couldn’t believe what started as a disaster turned out to be a good thing for me.
I had my wolf.
“Hello, Valeria,” Hazel’s voice warmed into my heart. “You’ve waited so long for me.”
