“You smell like vanilla and more of mine,” he said under his breath, eyes still on the front of the class like he hadn’t just whispered that straight into my soul.

My heart jumped straight out of my chest into my throat and when I finally spared him my shocked expression, he was already back to business with a serious look on his face.
Gosh! You could never hate on a face like that.
“Snap out of it, Val.” I shook my head and gently slapped myself into concentration.
“More of mine? Who even says that? We are not in some romance movie, red flag generator.” I eyed him through gritted teeth.
”If we were, you would be my star girl for sure.” He winked at me, passing the final blow that could stain any girl’s cheeks with a blush.
