His glasses caught the moonlight as his fingers moved quickly over the stone covered in wolf symbols, tracing patterns I couldn't quite follow.
"The array is way more complicated than I thought. We need Valeria's royal blood to activate the main connection point. Who's going to help me?"

"I will!" Zane stepped forward immediately, practically shoving me toward Caius. "I'm strong enough to hold her steady."
