Holden POV
The guards are running down leads for Ezra as Thomas, my little tech whiz is on the traffic cams. I knew some stunt like this was going to happen. So, Thomas is also tracking her through the ring that I bugged. I know I shouldn't have put a tracker on her, but I had a bad feeling. And when I have a gut wrenching feeling like the one that I did, I knew I had to.
"Sir. We couldn't find Ezra." The guards give me a rundown of what happened to him. "We think he went under the sewers." Oh, geez. For a guy who's lived in luxury, he sure is willing to go through some shitty things to stay hidden. No pun intended. But Aspen... my love... she's not stupid. She would never run off, but something about Ezra and whatever the f**k happened to them in high school hit a nerve with Aspen.
