Alex woke with an intense pain in her abdomen. So sharp, it curled a scream from her lips.
Rowan jolted, reaching for her. "I'm here! I'm here!" He repeated, craddling her head against his chest. He mindlinked Dallas, Jordan and Lucas. He told Dallas to get the pack doctor.
Dallas said they were on their way.
Alex let out another scream. The baby was coming, with or without the doctor.

"Ok, Alex. One last push. You got this girl!" The doctor said to her.
She nodded, one hand holding Dallas, the other holding Rowan. Clara was dabbing a cold cloth on her face.
With a last push and scream from Alex, a scream came from the small form that the doctor was now holding.
Alex instantly cried, as the small baby did. The doctor placed it in Alex's arms. "Your beautiful daughter!"
