“Miss Aisner?” I gazed at Rider as his voice broke through my thoughts. Just stared at him and did nothing else, my mind drifting back to my thoughts again, about how much I had fallen for him and Adrien and Darien.
“Miss Aisner?” he repeated. “Did you get those points down?”
I blushed so hard when I realized we weren’t alone. We were in a meeting, and as his PA, I was supposed to jot down important points as Connor, his Beta, wasn’t here, and this was the first time he took me to a meeting. And what did I do? Gazed at him like I was a lovesick fool!
